Many thanks @scoredagainsteps she has had an incredible recovery after having her oesophageal cancer removed. This is a 10 hour procedure. The operation was in February 2019 thankfully. It is very tough, but she is a fighter and quite remarkable. But at this time she is having to be very careful indeed.
This testing product is going to be likely found in every home, business and health care centre around the world and you can be sure that until Covid19 is eradicated this kind of simple test is going to become a global best seller.
The PCR testes will be in hospitals and will ensure that any false testes are eradicated and proven, but the home portable out of a box solution will sell billions!
The more you think about it the bigger this solution looks to become a global overnight success. The numbers needed for these testing kits will mean the plastic moulding industry and those producing the reagents are going to be massively busy for the next 12 to 24 months producing these testing kits.
The income to Avacta should be incredible.

The need for testing is going to grow and grow! Imagine every chemist in the world had a shelf full of this simple Stick tests we could use and every business had them too, we would know who is carrying the virus and who is clear. This will accelerate the reduction in new cases and we would know who is safe to go out and work. This device is a key part of the answer.
But this company may be able to succeed in an even more important area which effects 1 in 3 people on the planet - cancer treatments. Targeted chemotherapy is desperately needed. My wife had 3 courses of chemotherapy last year and surgery. I can tell you all, the effect on her was within 10 hours from feeling ok to being very tired and feeling very sick. She spent most of her treatment time in hospital in isolation. The revelation of targeted treatment rather than a blunt instrument of filling the whole body with the chemotherapy chemicals will revolutionise treatments. If this company can deliver this kind of solution this will change cancer treatments for ever.
Covid19 may make this company enough revenue to be able to build the partnerships and ability to take is cancer targeting drugs to the next level. This is actually what this business will be known for. This is why the long term outlook here is beyond today’s short term outlook.
This makes a compelling investment case.

The Vanadium market is grounded in supplying Ferro Vanadium and Vanadium Pentoxide (V205) into the steel market for many years. One kilo of vanadium added to 1000 kilos of steel doubles the strength - critical for rebar used in construction.
But, the new market which is growing very quickly is energy storage and vanadium is used in what is called a vanadium redox flow battery which offers key advantages over a lithium ion battery. The market is massive and Bushveld Minerals, not only has the three mines, but the largest high grade resource in the world but has low cost processing plants too. There is very little chance of a take over until we are clear of the Covid19 threat and the business is normalised in my opinion.
But the value this company will gain is way north of today’s valuation.
So sit back and be very confident. Target value is in the region of £7 to £9 right now.
Take over next year, maybe!

That is an impossible question to answer as it depends on what a large pharmaceutical company sees when completing due diligence! If it was today, it could be 50% higher than the market cap. But any company looking to buy out would want to see what value it brings long term, not on the back of a one hit wonder moment. You have to consider the bigger picture.
It really is an impossible question. But clearly they have some very talented people both in design and marketing with all the right contacts.

MEM, this is not a question of catching up or being ahead. The two methods are different and both have a huge place in diagnosis.
Novacyt is the most accurate test currently in the world with the fastest turnaround 2 hours. If people are admitted to hospital or a Healthcare centre this is the test that is key.
The Avacta opportunity is for in the field and at home. But it has to be developed and manufactured. This will take time.
Right now the key is the world needs both, but today the Novacyt system from Premier Designis the one.
The value of this company is going to keep rising from the £256 million Mcalpine today and most likely get to £500 million over the next few weeks. Other players may get there at some point, but being ahead of the game is key.
Look to Tesla as an example, the EV market would not be where it is without them, love or hate Elon Musk, but it is a fact. Everyone else is playing catch up. But in every field there are competitors and slight diversity in technology which all help get to the end game.
This board is about NCYT and the technology is proven and endorsed by the WHO and backed by GSK and Astra Zeneca and that is key to global success and underlines why the product is already being sold in 80 countries around the world. Anything that can help beat this silent killer and get the world back and operational is vital.
This company is doing everything it can.

The decision to move from AIM to the FTSE is not automatic or by valuation. It happens because the company applies to do so. They have to agree to additional regulation and it effects many aspects. From investors perspective it means that a business is taken more seriously and that fund managers are more likely to invest, but it also means that purchases are subject to stamp duty.
A business like Novacyt should really be if the current situation was not underline in the priority of meeting demand and growing capacity, be very seriously focused on moving to the FTSE.
I would expect this to be announced in the months ahead, if they are not acquired by one of the giants.

From 16:15 to 16:29 it was almost impossible to buy. My last buy of £5000 went through on the bell.
Quite why the market makers make buying so hard is crazy!

If you are calculating the share price from a market cap, you need to know how many shares are in circulation - Novacyt has 68,000,000.
So, divide the market cap value by 68 million and you have the share price.
So 400m mcap is £5.88 SP
And 500m mcap is £7.35 SP
These numbers are highly likely to be exceeded in the weeks ahead.

Well Good evening all!
So having made two purchases at around 12:30, I go on a phone call and come off at 13:25. Blimey! What has happened! No news? No!
So firstly this kind of super fast rise very rarely happens link this. But, after a lot of news articles and media promotion, there is no doubt that people have been buying strongly.
But here is a theory, I have seen it before and so may others. The MM’s were following the French market which is very organised (unlike the AIM Market Makers). There was a good chance that some would have sells set for £4.90 to £5.10. Not great to set one at a round number to obvious! Best at 10 to 15p below your target. However, some may have set a spread bet once £5 was triggered that it would drop to below £4 (knowing it had risen so quickly. This would protect any position if it dropped. Then they sold! PI’s panic and the SP crashes. The MM’s take a huge amount of shares around 3.30 to 3.50 and the PI is looking which way to turn as sitting in disbelief at what has just happened. In the meantime the shorter is buying back in. Then the PI is left trying to buy back in at £3.70 to £3.80. Who ever took to spread bet was covered.
In the meantime nothing has changed here. I did sell a few at £4.80. Bought back in at £3.60. So didn’t do too bad.
But this has been an incredible week, and this is not finished yet.

Well, I am not top-slicing or selling, in fact, I have had another £5K this morning!

This is just pausing at the moment, there are multiple buyers. This is "The Test". It is about reliability and numbers 96 test every 2 hours and 100% reliable.
There may be speculation about others coming, but this is proven it works and it is the one underlined by WHO and backed by GSK and Astra Zenica. It is being sold around the world and the only thing that will hold it back from more sales is that production can only get so many out of the plants producing it! But the company will be doing everything it can to produce more you can be sure of that!
In the meantime, sales growth results in more revenue and more profit. Expect when numbers to come out they will blow peoples socks off!

This has gone straight through £3 and is not stopping. In France is heading to €3.50.

Why should it the sales and demand is off the scale. If we rea right with valuation estimates in excess of £5 per share and closer to £7, selling at this point would be crazy. Remember the more in the pot the bigger the pot becomes. Top slicing at these levels is way too early!

The key factors which make BMN investable:

- Bushveld Minerals are a "Profitable Vertically Integrated Vanadium Business!"
- With 3 mines – Vametco, Brits and Mokopane
- Nitrovan is a key product to strengthen steel from its Vametco Mine
- Vanadium is also used in a breaking electrolyte technology used in large energy storage batteries
- Bushveld has two processing plants Vametco 3200 mtV and Vanchem 1100 mtV - currently producing a combination of 4300 mtV, in last year with an average selling price of circa US$40 per kilo with an operating cost of circa US$19 – but operation costs are much much lower in 2020
- Bushveld has plans to more than double the capacity of these two plants to 8400 mtV pa within 3 years
- Of the 3 mines Vametco is in full operation, Brits is an extension to Vametco and Mokopane which has its licence for mining fully approved and this will be the largest high-grade Vanadium mine in the world – DFS later this year and expect the mine to be opened in 2021
- Bushveld has built up a new division called Bushveld Energy which has part ownership of Invinity Energy Storage plc and Enerox GmbH part of its VIP program.
- Bushveld Energy has installed at the Eskom Battery Test facility a VRFB which has been operational over a year which is being used for evaluation purposes
- The Bushveld Electrolyte Company is building a Vanadium Electrolyte 200MWh plant in East London (SA)
- The Electrolyte plant will eventually have the capacity for 1000MWh of electrolyte
- 1000MWh of electrolyte needs approximately 5000 mtV per year
- Bushveld Energy is working with multiple partners around the world through Vanitec to build the strongest business case for VRFB
- Bushveld Energy plan to build an assembly plant for VRFB is SA – an Enerox subsidiary is possible?
- The world supply chain for vanadium remains in deficit and although other projects around the world are in planning, Bushveld Minerals are so far ahead of the other players in every respect

Vanadium prices are rising in 2020 with the price today close to US$27 per kilo and our cost is below US$15 per kilo and we will be producing just under 4,300,000 kilos of vanadium in 2020!

The current limited supply puts Bushveld in one of the strongest positions as a primary Vanadium supplier with strong revenue growth predicted year on year!

Well, I would be delighted if a few people had looked at places I am invested! That would be quite an endorsement and very flattering. Let's face it we are well known on this board for research and sharing the news and working to understand the investment opportunity. Thanks to Alfacomp we have the Bushveld Perspective which is not only legendary on AIM, but well known across the Vanadium world. It was even shown in the last large Vanitec meeting as an example for marketing the vanadium opportunities.
To be fair we are all aware here that this company has such huge potential to recover very quickly and accelerate way past where we were a year ago.
If the Vametco and Vanchem operations are able to keep the kilns running at 50% throughput to maintain the plants then this will bring a few surprises to the market as even on shut down the process has to remain partly operational. I hope this is proven at some point soon.
We must remember we are also close to 2020 Q1 Update. That should be full of very exciting news!
Of course, it may be that John Meyer just kept buying shares all day yesterday as he was given permission! He expects 80p pronto so why would he not load up just in time for retirement ;-))
