The key factors influencing BMN's step up:

- Bushveld Minerals are a "Profitable Vertically Integrated Vanadium Business!"
- With 3 mines – Vametco, Brits and Mokopane
- Nitrovan is a key product to strengthen steel from its Vametco Mine
- Vanadium is also used in a breaking electrolyte technology used in large energy storage batteries
- Bushveld has two processing plants Vametco 3200 mtV and Vanchem 1100 mtV - currently producing a combination of 4300 mtV, in last year with an average selling price of circa US$40 per kilo with an operating cost of circa US$19 – but operation costs are now much lower in 2020
- Bushveld has plans to more than double the capacity of these two plants to 8400 mtV pa within 3 years
- Of the 3 mines Vametco is in full operation, Brits is an extension to Vametco and Mokopane which has its licence for mining fully approved and this will be the largest high-grade Vanadium mine in the world – DFS later this year and expect the mine to be opened in 2021
- Bushveld has built up a new division called Bushveld Energy which has part ownership of Invinity Energy Storage plc and Enerox GmbH part of its VIP program.
- Bushveld Energy has installed at the Eskom Battery Test facility a VRFB which has been operational over a year which is being used for evaluation purposes
- The Bushveld Electrolyte Company is building a Vanadium Electrolyte 200MWh plant in East London (SA)
- The Electrolyte plant will eventually have the capacity for 1000MWh of electrolyte
- 1000MWh of electrolyte needs approximately 5000 mtV per year
- Bushveld Energy is working with multiple partners around the world through Vanitec to build the strongest business case for VRFB
- Bushveld Energy plan to build an assembly plant for VRFB is SA – an Enerox subsidiary is possible?
- The world supply chain for vanadium remains in deficit and today even more so, Bushveld Minerals are so far ahead of the other players. Prices will be rising quickly.

Vanadium prices are rising in 2020 with the price today close to US$26 per kilo and our cost is well below US$15 per kilo and we will be producing just under 4,300,000 kilos of vanadium in 2020!

The current limited supply puts Bushveld in one of the strongest positions as a primary Vanadium supplier with strong revenue growth predicted year on year!

I have continued to add to my investment here this last week. This is now my only pharma holding ( I have decided to sell NCYT) with the exception to the well managed AXA Framlington Healthcare which continues to be a solid back and ultra-defensive fund during these tough times. But It is my intention this week to continue to add significantly here.

Having discovered this share with a very good tip-off from a good friend which lead to extensive research meant that I have built a very good holding here over the last 3 weeks.

The majority of the new investors moving in ready for the super effective and potentially massive POC Covid19 test may have missed the main event here which is targeted chemotherapy treatment for various cancer treatments, which will make a massive difference to anyone who is under the current chemotherapy method which in many oncology situations is a blunt instrument, with terrible side effects - loss of hair (which for ladies is very emotional), nausea, super low immune system meaning multiple stays in hospital and many others. The targeted treatment will mean the cancer cells are treated directly and the side effects are greatly reduced.

Then look into the work they are doing on a joint venture with AffyXell -https://avacta.com/alastair-smith-provides-update-on-affyxell-collaboration-and-licence-agreement/ again working with people suffering from Crohn's, MS and others.

Those new investors would do well to research this more. This is not a 'get rich quick and go,' - this is a solid long term investment which will grow and grow way past the Covid19 testing (which I believe will be the accelerator to the future)! This current opportunity is a step up to the big time working with some very large pharma clients which may hopefully result in this company potentially moving on to the FTSE (away from AIM which should be every companies ambition) and of course potentially listing in other markets around the world. Potentially it could be bought out by one of the large pharma companies.

This company is working to solve huge medical issues which affect all our lives.

The potential is massive, short term and even bigger long term.

I hope all are doing well and coping with this very difficult time.
YTSS, thanks for sharing the feedback from Fortune, much appreciated. I think the Q1 update is very likely to come this week which should give a full updated on all aspects of this business. Once we can get fully up and running again and the news is released about Enerox and the plans for 2020 we will see a very strong recovery and many will feel much happier.
The news ahead will bring much excitement. I think many business leaders will be very frustrated by the current situation, even the largest businesses in the world are going through an equally tough times.
This investment will come to all those patient enough to have been loyal. It is easy to say we can find faster-growing investments elsewhere. But, all who have been here over the years will one day be well rewarded. We all have choices in life and this company has a great future and I for one will be not going anywhere with my current holding.

To underline the point - the reason for investment was a long term financial investment supporting the companies growth, based on a cause which is close to all our hearts, accurate cancer treatment without the devastating side effects. Which hopefully will result in our loved ones and even ourselves suffering as much and improve quality of life.

The global demand over the next two years for low cost accurate testing will be huge. The numbers will be in the billions of units. Competition is never an issue, no company or product will ever get 100% market share.
Thinking what Alastair Smith said in the interview, “test results in minutes” and “looking to work with multiple partners”. You could say they are looking to work with other platforms and at the same time hold all the rights. That is a very smart business move and exceptional news for investors.

I agree 100% with you points made. The partnership with Cytiva would not be in place if they had not completed due diligence to see if the affirmer could be applied to the device.

I am under no illusion that today is the beginning of Avacta building a market cap which will be life changing to many in more ways than one.
What ever happens when the market opens today there after the only way is upwards.
This companies Affirmer technology is about to revolutionise the Covid19 testing and is set to become the worlds best selling low cost and accurate test which will help every government meet their testing targets and every other place will have access to accurate testing.
Then focus on targeted chemotherapy and you have one of the best global breakthroughs in the history of treatment for cancer.
If that does not make this a compelling investment, I don’t now what does.

Turvart, I have seen first hand what happpens when big business take over really successful companies, they rarely improve. Of subject, but take GIllette it was an incredible business growing taking over OralB, Braun, Duracell, and Parker Pen. They were growing very strongly. P&G buy them (GIllette is there key product), but they have lost focus and rather than experts, they have too many inexperienced people the key people move on and the brand losses it edge (pardon the pun).
This company is successful not because of the name, it is because you have a group of highly motivated smart chemists who know what to do. Bring in a giant and the big company mentality generally takes the team spirit away and then the smart ones will leave unless they get offered crazy money to stay, but the motivation is lost.
I guess many hope the success over the next year will lead to a huge offer, take over and then as investors we take our money and move on.
But, it would be perfect to see a company with such a compelling portfolio get to the big time just through partnerships and strong profits from exceptional products.
Anyone hoping to get in tomorrow might want to be in early, I think we could see a lot of investors awaiting to see what happens pile in here. Who knows!

Sorry for the late reply to your 13:21 post. I think over the next year £5 per share is more than likely. I truly hope we don't get bought out. I would rather this company is able to flourish on its own and it will go on to become a World-Class Biotech company with a superb reputation on its own! Why should every good company get bought out and the soul lost and in the end, people become less valued and the expertise is dissolved and the bright ones will start all over again!

If this company is able to deliver the targeted chemotherapy cancer treatments and supply the larger companies around the world, the significance of this is hard to comprehend. Targeted pinpoint cancer treatment has a much-focused approach and is far my likely to result in a cancer sufferer recovering and certainly, you can be sure that the side effects will be much reduced.
Who wants to suffer from nausea, extreme tiredness, loss of hair, the massively increased risk of another infection which can result in death. Nausea in itself in most cases causes long term cancer patients to give up. I have seen it around me a few times.

Long term if just working in partnerships this company will be a very big lead in global Biotech solutions. This is why it has become one of my largest holdings. I am looking way beyond Covid19 testing which clearly will be a revolution to the world dealing with the virus.

I am expecting a very strong increase in share price over the next few weeks and where it will end up is unclear, but by the end of May something in the £2 to £3 region is not really far fetched.

The key with this company compared to others is this company is offering so much more and as a long term investor thats what I really look for. That is why I like Bushveld Minerals. It has something for the long term and will make a difference to the planet.

There is absolutely no doubt that Mr Muhmud's son will need to sell the shares immediately this will have been set up as a long term investment. As directors of Boohoo, they are running one of the most successful online clothing companies in the UK. They don't need the money, but they are wanting to support the long term work that Avacta is doing on targeted cancer treatment as this is life-changing and unique. It is a very shrewd long term investment. These people are not AIM heard investors jumping on the next bandwagon and will sell out tomorrow to buy the next Covid19 player. They are looking at a long term investment which they feel is morally correct. Very smart move. As a businessman, I would do exactly the same!

If the long term projections are correct and around a £1 billion valuation comes along they will have done very well. The company may in the future with target cancer treatments be worth many times that as Myles has already pointed out today if it hasn't been bought out. I would imagine that many of today's AIM investors on this board will sell way before Mr Muhmud's son does. he is unlikely to be in need of anything. Look at the value of Boohoo!

What is going to happen after tomorrow morning at 8 am? I am sure this share price will rally, why because many investors didn't buy-in before, will do. But once the placing it is out the way there is nothing holding this back.

I am very happy with my holding and the future of this business is looking very strong indeed over the next few months and way beyond that!

TallPaulNY - I think when the full announcement comes the first tests are ready and being sold, everyone one in the world will want this super fast accurate test. It will save billions and billions around the world and we can all get back to some normality!

Ianpim - to answer you your question on NCYT - I have a token holding still, but this is just so I can watch it. I feel that Avacta / Cytiva RedT will be the best selling Covid19 test in the world as it should prove to be as accurate as the PCR test for much less cost to the user and the fact that the results will come in 5 to 10 minutes - as it is completed there and then. No lab, no specialist required.
The technology here is the key and the numbers required will be in hundreds of millions to be manufactured and sold. It may be billions.
The test will be as accurate as a PCR test as the affirmers pin point the virus. You would certainly expect this test to replace and / or certainly work along side PCR testing.
For me this looks like the best testing tool for Covid19 full stop!

My normal strong hold is Fundsmith. This has annual growth of 20% +/- a few. If you want a quick trade try a trust fund like SMT.
BMN has been and is a long term hold for me.
But this Avacta has so much going for it my holding is now on 250k shares. This is looking very good indeed.
