Bushveld Minerals – The Balanced Outlook
We have on this share chat always focused on the amazing potential of the business and its clear objectives.
- Increasing our production at Vametco in 2019 to 5000 MTV and to 10,000 MTV beyond that
- Building the Electrolyte Plant in East London (South Africa’s Industrial Zone)
- The opening of the mine at Brits – to extend the output and life of mine at Vametco
- Bushveld Energy partnerships with UET bringing VRFB into South Africa with huge potential
- Growing the partnerships with Eskom to supply VRFB for new projects
- The vanadium deficit again pushing the price of vanadium beyond the highs of 2018 and increasing our profitability
- A new mine at Mokopane which will be the largest vanadium mine in the world when operational
In every investment, there are of course risks. For any new investor, these also have to be considered.
- In South Africa there are elections in 2019 – this could have a very positive effect but may also bring uncertainty to the political situation
- The world economy is unclear at the moment and global investment is on the cautious side
- Vanadium is mainly used in the construction industry so some would be concerned in a global slowdown that construction projects could be put on hold. One should note that many countries in a global slow down continue with large infrastructure projects and China, India and the US will continue with large projects and these will always use a huge amount of rebar (which must include vanadium).
- Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries are new, and no one knows how large the take-up will actually be. However, the potential is huge in renewables if we are going to move away from carbon power generation.
- Any processing plant can have production downtime which can reduce output, in our case there are regular maintenance programs and inspections, but things happen and can affect quarterly numbers.
In the summary, this company has enviable financial fitness and they are way ahead of any other vanadium miner and processor. They have the distinct advantage of being vertically integrated. So, they produce their own vanadium products from their mined materials.
Our advantages and potential is huge but please do read and learn as much as you can. May 2019 bring health and great rewards to those here and those new investors making consideration to their investment portfolio.
Cheers,
RK
