BBN, I see clearly what you mean when you say that our mineral reserve at Vametco & Brits is 90 million tonnes so at an average at 1.5% Vanadium in the ore that is 1,350,000 tonnes of vanadium? Is that right - it is a huge number?

If that was right, the mine has a lifetime of 135 years at 10,000 mtV per year and pro-rata. Assuming a good ROM!

That is a wow number! I see why we need not be too worried about Mokopane! Infact, it could be a negative as if we mine too much, it will drive the price down!

I hope Kev doesn't need option 4 otherwise he will need Bushy at a minimum of £2 in the next few weeks!

BBN, The question in the back of my mind is what will BMN spend the other $70 million on. If $100 million is to upgrade Vametco, then the brownfield site for growth beyond that to cope with additional ore from Britts / early ore from Mokopane? Or a second electrolyte plant / or a joint venture VRFB manufacturing site. $70 million goes a long way when building a manufacturing assembly plant? Or a mixture of all! They are all heavily hinted at!

I ran some basic figures based on our current $35 per kilo operational costs including taxes. The upgrade to Vametco is around $100 million to reach 10,000 mtV - then at $85 per kilo FeV selling price will bring in $550 million profit per year.

This is just one part of the picture and excludes BE, any asset value from Lemur or any profit coming back from our 10% stake in Afritin.

GIven that Mokopane is not part of that either it is a huge number. Also, you should consider that the payback on the $100 million investment is just 10 weeks!

Move that forward to the PFS on Mokopane and the investment cost would be circa $375 million to build a greenfield processing plant to produce 10,000 mt of V205 with a potential startup in say 2023/24 as this kind of project will likely take 2 to 3 years to build from plans to production. It would be very easy to fund such a project based on the profits from Vametco. So in 5 years time Bushveld Minerals could be looking at 20,000 mtV just at the pivot point for global demand to increase as global demand for energy storage could become a routine power investment. Every little piece will fit into place. As BBN says they are five-year plans and you have to consider that every year the plan is amended based on progress and estimated need.
All my thoughts of course! But with layers of verification from others here based on what we understand.

Many thanks for your contributions today. I am pleased to hear you are in alignment my thoughts on the phase 3 upgrade completing much sooner. I really feel it could be by the end of the second quarter. If so this would really give us the lift just as FeV prices really start to reach there yearly highs.

I am not suggesting cutting and running at all Beginerman. Quote the opposite. I would suggest you stay for the long term. Minimum 5 years if you can.

The largest increase in demand than any other mineral in 2018.

Only 3 vanadium pure vanadium mines outside China.

Global deficit due to changes in legislation for rebar where it has its largest use.

New technologies coming to the front especially in energy storage which is a market expected to explode over the next 10 years

No new mines coming into production for 3 to 5 years.

Bushveld is set to increase production to 5000 mtv this year and to 10,000 mtv so afterwards. They have the largest high grade resource in the world. They are a low cost producer and they have huge experience.

South Africa is about to award multiple contracts for energy storage and the key is to award the business to local companies where possible. This puts Bushveld Energy in prime position to be awarded many of the contracts which need to be in place by the end of 2020.

Just some of the reasons why this company is going up not down.

This company builds up all the pieces and releases the news when they have everything sorted. Rome was not built in a day and Bushveld will not get to where it needs to be overnight. If you rush you make mistakes. When you have a large cash income it is easy to get over excited and miss important points. Careful decisions based on thought out structure and risk analysis are critical. You can build a company quickly miss import points and fall as quickly as you went up. Typical AIM company where the directors are greedy!

Bushveld has never been like that look at how they have built this company over the last 5 years. But the foundation is rock solid and the investment has been very carefully thought out. In the UK our mentality is to buy now pay later. Then if everything goes to pot we panic! Fortune and his team are building this company to succeed.

So you can be sure that news will come we know what to expect. There are more clues than a game of "Cludo" here so just sit back and relax.

I would say to those sitting on losses at the moment, don't cut and run yet! This story is just beginning and when it finally is fully unraveled which will be during the course of this year the SP will lift and the predictions will start to fall into place.

Look at the thoughts earlier on the shipments to the US. We could be on target for a full-on record production at $112.4 per kilo! Worse case is 725 mtV potential up to 825 mtV

We will get news of a dividend this quarter and this will wake up the larger investors and fund managers. We are likely to move to SETS and this will reduce the MM's games to a more conventional pattern.

Then we have the production upgrade highly likely to be completed by end of second quarter. Then we can expect quarters of 1200 mtV per quarter and with prices likely to be pushing north of $100 per kilos that will be good timing!

Contracts to be won supplying Eskom already explored by BBN. read his posts and work it out. The potential is huge.

At that point though we will be producing and selling electrolyte so that is more profit on top. Do you see the picture?

Mine is brimming to overflowing. You are entitled to post and to be cautious. However if you come on this board expecting this to be the next Flybe. You have just come to the wrong gate at the airport.

This is more Emirates or Etihad. The world is our oyster and the vanadium world is growing. Do you know anything about vanadium?

If you are going to be our next gloom and doom merchant you will get short thrift and the growth this year will shut you up. You have been advised. I am a very fair man. My posting history will confirm this.

I am not going to list various reasons to invest. You will know them all if you read my posts, those from Pdub, BigByteNow, Nickderby, Alfacomp and many others.

But to be honest you are best to start with our two CEO’s Fortune Mojapelo and Mikhail Nikomarov. Find them on YouTube.

If you think this company is going down the pan. Your loss. Come back every month check in and see what has happened. You will either be delighted or very sad indeed.

Research is the key. You will find that all long term holders are not blinkered but the vanadium story is just about to come alive.

Headancer - I wrote to the Fool early last year with a detailed analysis why the should look at this investment. Had a nice reply. However, they ignored it. You could say they were fools :-)! They would have had a been using it as one of there best stock recommendations if they had taken it on board. I even sent them links to back up the research.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink! Still, if they do some research they may find it is not too late to join and write a decent article to share with their investors. Their tips are exposed on multiple news platforms including Apple's Share News so it would be good if they took us seriously.

Definitely not too late to join this investment - 300 to 400% this year should be easy.

Ninvestor - this is a good question.

Firstly as Alfa has said you can’t factor in selling at certain levels. Mainly because people’s confidence and priorities change as the story unfolds. Especially with a story this big.

So I expect the first level of confidence from the Q4 results with my target level of 752 mtV

Next comes the completion of Phase 3 plant upgrade early, this is important as it gives the highest potential earnings in the last two quarters of 2019. If we could hit in excess of 1000 mtV in each when Vanadium demand is greatest and prices likely at there highest this would be a very important factor.

Next comes the defining dividend policy - this will give confidence to new fund managers as well as PI’s who’s priority is income and growth. This is very important in many investors portfolio balance.

Eskom VRFB conclusions in a positive vane.

Confirmation of tenders and first tender awards to supply VRFB in partnerships.

Next important one is confirmation of the build program of the electrolyte plant with production targets.

Finally is confirmation of funding for Phase 1 of upgrade to 10,000 mtV at Vametco with a clear strategy

I have not factored in any changes at Lemur Resources, this could be 2020 before we decide to let this go as the value is still to be had.

Mokopane License is not included either. Not because it is not important, but it is unlikely to have any effect until it is confirmed. That would be a nice surprise.

The final pathway and the route to the valuation may change.
