RE: The most important Share triggers for Avacta30 Aug 2020 16:50
No ‘noviceInvestor1’, your assessment as my situation as a stalker is very wrong indeed.
First of all why would any investor look at selling their Avacta holding when the share price is at 164p when it is going to rise through two major news items due in September. BAMS will push the price over 200p and our LFD is likely to push 400p and with upside north of 600p through October.
When I said now is the time to increase ones holding, I meant it.
Through this winter, we are highly likely to see the need for mass testing grow and grow. I fully intend to be invested here through AVA6000 stage 1 trials and way beyond.
As for other investments I hold, I am delighted to be making the moves required to grow our investments in a positive way. As you read the other board on a regular basis looking at your posting history, you will be well aware why increasing the holding in BMN through Q4 would be very prudent.
On the subject of selling shares in investments, clearly some people would like holders to announce their sells, give all reasons and wish holders the best. To be fair to investors who are new or who are in a different phase of a company’s growth cycle, it is somewhat discourteous to people when some people who have built large investments say they are selling up. It could cause a share to fall unnecessarily. Many investors will take off some profits into a steep rise, either to bank the gains or to move into new up and coming investments. This is a totally normal investment strategy. However, as they say in F1 to be fast you need to be in the best tyres. When investing you need to trust your research and when the share prices is likely to rise you need to be invested in the right part of the cycle.
There are surprises, look at Tesla. The logic said when the share price was 350$ it was over priced, no profit etc. But 5 months later their sharp ice has hit a high of 2300$ this last week. Some brokers have suggested that Tesla could break 7000$ per share within 5 years.
The question is with 18 months of Avacta diagnostics test sales and successful (hopefully) in body use of Affimer technology in the pre|CISION chemotherapy treatments the value of Avacta either through multiple successful partnerships or a huge take over could deliver huge returns.
People have choices, I have shared many thoughts on various share chats on LSE. I am a positive person, I don’t waste energy on negativity. I look for the good. Many love doom and gloom, if that is your outlook I hope it makes you as happy or as miserable as you aim to be.
Life is too short, I am looking forward and I hope and trust Avacta will succeed on the path and I will be here for a long time yet based that expected on success.
I may not post here multiple times or on other boards, but my belief in my investments remains very positive.
Cheers, Rich
