this will be massive for SLE if it goes down that road, absolutely massive!! Not only will we have payments from NNPC rolling in enabling the payment of dividends (circa 8-10p per share) but we will also have an income stream independant of the NNPC!! No wonder the non holding City position defenders are out in force since the RNS, this news is huge and if it ends up being an RTO I expect this to fly on resumption. Watch the institutions pile in once the announcement of a dividend is made, due to the illiquidity of shares in freen float I would not be surprised to see this reach triple digits quick time, this coupled with the fact the POO is 130% higher than when the deal was struck should really put a spring in the old step. By the way, it seems that the only people (if you can call them that) who thought MW were going to make an offer for SLE were the non holders themselves, how bizarre is that....I always assumed it would be an RTO with them. I just hope we dont get a silly low ball offer in the meantime as after weighing up the options, I no longer want to sell my SLE shares on the cheap and cheap would have been 76p, Tosca made it quite clear what he would have accepted in the time, that being between 100p and 130p but that was a year ago and I am sure that with the POO significantly higher so will his acceptable price for a T/O be. IG maybe? IMO Avinalaugh were advised by their own legal team to wind it in or face being counter sued themselves, which SLE had good cause to do. It was nothing but a vexatious attempt to cause SLE harm and I would not be surprised one bit if someone had not put Avinalaugh up to it, maybe the defenders or others with an interest for the share price to fall had somehow offered a backhander to bring about the court motion, as we all know the Market Makers and Spread Bet companies stand to lose massive amounts on San Leon when the day comes they need to pay out )) I strongly believe that most of the negative pretend holders that adourn this and other boards are employed by the above entities, thats why they are here, they are "defending" lol.
