Since many of us have had our incomes cut as a result of the dividends being suspended/cancelled, did the reference to the bonus pool include everyone or just senior managers. I'm curious if they made the distinction since they could have separated the private investors from the corporate and still paid a proportion of the dividend. Since Lloyds have been pressured to toe the line and yet it's the thrifty saver who feels the pain, will senior management and the public sector excluding those in the NHS and those supporting the NHS, volunteer to take 20% salary cuts for then we can all say we are in this together. This brings them into line with the private sector during this pandemic, for it should be remembered that without a buoyant private sector there is no public sector. The first voluntary salary cuts should be at the B of E, so at least they can be seen to be taking the same medicine. With the money saved, spend it on testing kits and face masks in order to get our economy to recover as soon as possible.
