Depends on the interest and if we need cash to grow the business. Might be more beneficial to us to fund future wells with our cash than pay off the debt sooner.

I will let you in on a secret, I have seen zazas final quarter strategy setting. I don’t want to give to many details away as I’ll get into trouble but it involves Hawaii, Strippers and Ferrari’s. The closing statement was my favourite “all LTH’s invited”.

I agree but I think it is important to talk about so new investors can judge the risk. The SP dropped recently cos of no definitive news on the EWT results but we have been told these are commercial and that we are paying off debt and funding operating costs so in my book they are producing at worst a decent amount of oil. Now it is possible this is a big fat lie but it would be crazy and zaza could kiss his working career good bye along with his massive investment so it’s highly unlikely in my book. So even if the majors were to walk I think the risk element is still minimal as we can prove up the assets ourselves albeit a lot slower. The SP would drop cos people are invested just for the majors but long term I would still see it coming good.

Wick and colter are the key drills, wick is going to be spud very soon. Colter probably next month. If both of these fail then we will be in a bad place but if either one is successful then things are looking good.

I know it’s irrational and to me it wouldn’t make a difference but maybe it would have some psychological benefits overall as in some people’s minds the SP might be more attractive.

The sentiment has been remarkably high this weekend. Anyone would think the derampers were only employed to work Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm

I was wondering if anyone else thinks this might be a good idea? Split the shares 2 for 1, the market cap stays the same and our equity stays the same but the SP would be halved and then might be more appealing to new investors even though it shouldn’t make any difference.

MMS collecting stop losses is my guess.

The question has been put to him a few times in podcasts very clearly and he has specifically said before Q4. Not during, but before which means sometime in September. There are a bunch of other updates that will then follow in q4. Extension drilling to the east, infill drilling and more info on the huge core that was already drilled. I can’t remember if he said if the metallurgical studies would come out independently of the scoping study or part of it.

I don’t know why people keep comparing this to BPC. We are producing oil, BPC didn’t even smell any oil and they were relying on the major and we are not...although it would be nice.

And don’t forget the Americans would not have been able to have a slice of this yet. With lots of people guessing at Exxon being one of the majors it will be interesting to see how the Americans react.

Why a placing? We are paying off operating costs and debt with money we are producing from selling oil. The next well in November is fully funded and we have two majors interested in in Jv/farmout.

Maybe if you cry it a third time this morning it may happen...or probably not.

Maybe it’s a couple of Russian majors planning another invasion :)

Even if the deal isn’t made the market must surely believe we are getting oil out of the ground By now which in itself should put the SP north of where it is now.

Also people shouldn’t compare this to BPC. All they had was seismic data, we have that + lots of drill data + a train full of oil!

It’s hard to tell because there have been a lot of disgruntled investors over the past few months due to the share price being in free fall so there might be a few sales as these people break even and hence slowing the progress but on the flip side I believe this stock has been heavily shorted so those shooters that haven’t exited yet will have to do so soon or get in some really bad positions. The stock hovered around the 0.6 mark for a while previously also so might see some top slicing there also. Me, I’m in no rush. I bought these shares being confident they will min 5bag in 5 years so I’ll be holding on until then.

I would also miss this board if I sold as although I don’t post much I love reading it, it’s like an Australian soap opera.
