Still sitting on sidelines with DC.. Have sold a few other shares recently as we have got to be near top of market and want to get some cash ready, should market tumble. Worried about A50 button being pushed at end of March. Not sure how much is already priced in to markets? Been thinking about getting some dollars as pound is going to be trashed. Anyone got any other ideas to make most of volatility?...sorry to sound negative! ATB Rich

We need the big seller to finish and move on . At present whenever MM raises price to 50p, our friendly seller is selling blocks of 10k. Once fully sold up, price will rise..

Robbie Burns is back into VANL again. He had sold his stake on last RNS, as price dropped back although he couldnt see too much wrong with the results. He is now back in as share price had dropped back significantly. Robbie's target is 140p. Lots of buys this afternoon around 115/116p, as a result of his latest diary notes. Gla Rich

Agree results are excellent. I think the market has priced these in following update before Xmas. I sold my holding at 181p several weeks ago as price was dropping back, whilst awaiting news. May get some more if price drops a little more as this share is going places. Agree 220p easily achievable with news coverage in investors chronicle.. IMO Rich

Weird movement today, being 3% down first thing then picking up. I note that a non executive Director has bought £50k shares sub £3 each. Should steady the price for a bit now. Will carry on observing till there is a clearer picture. Gla Rich

Thanks for positive info about Redrow; appreciated. I think this year is going to be a,roller coaster ride again! Lots of good companies could get derailed ( we have seen already with Next, Pearson. Cobham, BT) and MMs will trash any shares with signs of weakness. I reckon its either buy and think long term and accept volatility OR actively manage and take profits quickly. regards. Rich

Thanks for TW. Tip. Looked at them when they were 107p and put in order, but didn't get. I have got BDEV and RDW though, which I had good profits ln till Brexxit vote trashed them .Have sat on since as both good companies with decent divis. House builders normally rise in price till March, so I may sell off and see how Brexit plays out. Likewise with car dealers, who rose today. Houses / car sales will get trashed again if Brexit goes badly. Am diversifying to different sectors at present to derisk....regards Rich

I've been really happy with service and buy all my electrical stuff at DC. Felt really confident that company was moving in right direction, till today. Why would so many directors sell at one time, unless something has changed. I can accept the odd sell. As people need money for tax bill / house move / school fees / divorce and in reality £1.7m between 4 isn't that much, its just all selling together which concerns me. Hopefully they need the cash to take all staff away on holiday / team bonding session to Carribean! I live in hope.

£1.7m shares sold. They might have waited till shares bounced back to £3.50 before selling. Worried this would drop further through traders shorting, so sold mine. Lots of belief in DC., but Fx impact; Brexit risks and now this have spooked me. Will sit on sidelines for a bit....gla Rich

I cant believe Seb and other directors have sold so many shares in one go. I've just sold my holding that I've had for 4 years to preserve some profit. Terrible sign to market and price will be trashed. wall ****ed off

On AIM stocks they can move very quickly up or down on rumour / news. Market makers take every opportunity to shake the price about. A good RNS will lead to massive jump on opening price, sucking new investors in. Others will then sell into the higher price. When people start to sell, the MMs drop price very quickly in big steps down causing more panic selling Regards Rich

Hi Johnny - share fell on RNS. Half year profit less than forecast. Watching level 2, a lot of people started panic selling and price dropped to 107p. Since then it has ticked back up to around 113/116. I bought in around 123p on drop. Not much wrong with RNS in my view, I think people expected more. I will continue to hold and are confident that price will tick up gradually to 120p plus. Regards Rich
