I would certainly take 50p. Yes I’d like more, of course I would, but I’ve come to accept that I probably won’t get more, and may well not even get 50p. I’d be more optimistic if we had dynamic management but alas that doesn’t appear to be the case to me.

I know BNc used to say don’t discuss what you’d accept - but I’m sure any potential buyers won’t give 2 hoots about what I want. Anyone seen BNc recently by the way?

EVs should stand or fall on their own merit imo, same as wind farms and solar farms. Why should an EV which weighs much more than a typical ICE vehicle, pay zero road tax when they’re clearly wearing the road out more? (I think they’re about to pay £10 road tax, but that’s still a token). And I read news recently which suggested that brake dust from EVs could cause more pollution than diesel vehicles. And what about the batteries from decommissioned EVs - how will they be treated?

We need an honest debate about EVs and green energy.

They should not be heavily subsidised by the tax payer - as they currently are. Those billions of pounds should instead be ploughed in to strengthening the UKs pathetic armed forces, which could well be seeing serious action any time soon with the way the political winds are blowing.

If our assets are in truth uneconomical to mine (hopefully that’s clearly not the case) - then it would appear that we’re finished, although if the POG, POS & POC keep rising which seems likely, then what’s currently uneconomic to mine could become so?

I’ve often racked my brains as to why SolGold doesn’t have bids coming out of their ears. My main conclusion - highlighted by this afternoon’s discussions here - is the political dimension in Ecuador weighing heavily on any Due Diligence undertaken by potential bidders. And unfortunately, there seems little chance of this situation changing for the better any time soon?? We can but hope though !

Stack - in your self-obvious reincarnation, and fair play - you’ve mostly called the demise of the share price correctly. There’s no doubt in my mind that our management should be utterly ASHAMED by the current share price!!

JBco I’ve not seen you posting here much before. I’m not sure what you were expecting to happen with the share price, or what price you bought in at (if you did) but if you’ve been here for any time at all, (11 years for me) you’d know that this monotony is not unusual here - unfortunately.

RR - hi mate - you reckon once all of the permits are granted, the i’s dotted and t’s crossed - that the bidding will start ?

I honestly can’t see SolGold shareholders ever receiving a dividend - simply because IF it does succeed in getting to production, and proves up good production rates of Gold, Copper & Silver, it will be snapped up by a major at that point.

I hope for a buyout before then - because it’s years down the line imo, but the buyout boat is looking increasingly ‘titanic’ :-/

I’ve sold my holding this year as I previously said I would if nothing significant developed by Christmas. I won’t be back, but my best wishes to those holding & still believing.

Hi Eloro - I agree that there’s nearly zero chance of surprise bid.

Ps I get your recent post to me about our recent funders that must have done Due Diligence - yes surely they must have done . But I’ve lost money in far too many shares that went bust - but had seen due diligence shortly before.

Today’s RNS for me imo - just reinforced my belief that rough diamond prices will never likely recover. They will become the preserve of the rich.

The rest of us (excluding rich posters here) will buy LGD - and why not? Why should you have your shirt pulled off you - to buy you fiancé /wife a ‘real’ diamond?

Just my opinion, but I think the old rough diamond industry got too greedy and kept the cost too high.

One last observation - I assume our board of directors have no inclination towards hedging LGD ?

Hi add, I get that you seem to be a very loyal and staunch supporter of our directors, but I’m clearly making the point that our directors are very well paid when compared to the average private investor here. And by the way, I’ll continue to make such a case, because I am royally p****d off with the current SP.

I don’t want to fall out with you because we are both long term holders here, and I respect your posts. But my patience is wearing very thin.

Rednight1 - how much do you reckon the average PI reading this earns? £25-£35,000 a year would be my guess. From this perspective, the SolGold directors are on a very decent salary! And they probably want them (like me) to stop talking about shareholder value - and deliver it !!
