All been said before but more relevant with each passing day as our resource is further proved up - what us private shareholders need is an offer or multiple offers / bidding war which is just too good for the SOLG BoD to turn down, because I still suspect that in his heart of hearts NM dreams of taking this to production himself ( likely many years down the line with massive dilution to fund it). The majors will likely have to pay more the longer they wait this one out and surely one of them will show their hand soon ??

Hoping we can break through this 26p resistance and head on up to 30p very soon. I'm genuinely surprised to see so many still selling at this stage of the game. It's been mentioned that August is historically good for the SOLG share price, so too September if memory serves.

Oil flowing & tankers rolling - looks pretty good to me. The UK needs UKOG to come good post-Brexit (if Brexit ever happens of course). Looking forward to next week :-)

earthling I concur - Jim what fool continues to hold a share in negative equity while moaning daily ? You'd be better selling and moving on - or else become positive again !? There will be many holders under water in SOLG but you don't see them moaning about it every day.

I hope you're correct, but I can't see a sustained bullrun breakout above the downtrend resistance occuring on technicals alone : an offer / part offer / farm in offer / or serious upgraded MRE statement will be the catalyst. No more dilution in the shorter term too. In the absence of such, this could be a very arrid summer for the sp - a bit like the weather ! aimho

Of course I manually draw my charts using a chart platform and its chart tools ! How else can you put your own interpretations on the chart ?

Lot of talk of charts here recently, and while I fully welcome TA discussion, I'd always encourage people to evidence their their points with a physical chart link - preferably drawn by themselves (as I do) but otherwise copied from an appropriate source - thereby making it much clearer for non-chartists to understand.

It goes without saying that we need to break above and hold above the downtrend (which I'm afraid has become all too established) before the sp starts to see a significant recovery imho. In my experience, longer downtrends are tricky blighters to break because they are a reflection of ever-decreasing confidence by the market. We are going to need an offer / bidding war or a seriously uprated resource statement to get the bulls raging again imo - we can hope !
