And if you still hold your shares then I can imagine how much you've lost since May, based on your previous disclosures.

We need something to springboard the share price into another uptrend, but I am left wondering where it's going to come from ?

hello Dreamboat warrior, it gives me as a shareholder absolutely no satisfaction to post it, but I did so because it simply illustrates the complete rot in the SOLG share price since May and what may follow. Not rosy at all !

TheItalian, all fair points made by your good self although I do feel that many investors would argue that the newsfeed simply hasn't been sufficient....the market certainly seems to think so too because people are voting with their feet and selling.

May I say that I I salute you and your ilk for having such huge holdings, it's not something I am prepared to do myself.

But we can only keep everything crossed that all will end well in the end. I wonder if the great Warren Buffet would see fit to buy now - as you aluded to ??

TheItalian hello, I do admire your positivity mate but this SP fall is getting beyond a joke now. In my experience of share dealing, when a company goes virtually silent on the newsfront, it very rarely ends well. Clearly, those of us still holding can only hope that this is an exception !

hello FR101 can't fault your position but have you totally discounted the possibility of a T/O? You'd likely miss out if you weren't invested on the day the RNS landed. But I feel that a T/O which many LTH's dreamt of (myself included) is now unlikely and even if it did happen, I suspect the price would be a lot less than many had hoped for.

This current relative weakness in the SP is a bad thing imho and weakens our options. If Newcrest and / or BHP do provide further funding which may be sooner rather than later, I just can't see them wanting to pay into the 40p region per share or indeed anywhere near that - unless there are very positive things going on behind the scenes which would sway their hand to have to pay more??

hello twogoals, if I recall correctly, I've posted before that September has often been historically good for the SP too - but clearly not this year unless something stellar happens in the next 5 days....???

chippyjo good point well made, slip of the typo by me there and thanks for pointing it out - I should have typed around 40% of course.

Not a happy chappie here having lost at a guess -around 80% or more on the value of my investment since May. Absolutely not my idea of shareholder value !

I don't know what's going on behind the scenes, but it's all dragging painfully on and taking the SP down, because the market clearly doesn't like all of the uncertainty.

Some clarity would be much appreciated please !!

Here's hoping that the share price will be looking much, much better !

Fingers crossed that the drill rig does eventually arrive and drilling goes smoothly, giving UKOG lots and lots of lovely barrels of quality oil per day :p

hi PiranhaPires, I'm afraid that the SOLG share price is unlikely imho to be significantly uplifted by the rising value of our gold and copper assets in the ground, until we are actually producing them.
IF we do end up producing them - i.e mining them - then please let's get on with it. The financing will be the key of course ....

Respect to those including earthling who topped up at 22.75p last week - great call ! I don't mind eating humble pie when it's necessary to do so :D

I agree with much of what you wrote - anyone dressing up 22.75p as anything but very painful is living in a different world to me.

Rather than blowing a valve - you've done what many of us do to vent our frustrations - post your thoughts on here.

Good luck with your posting and be true to how you feel at the time you post. I'm a LTH and have often been very bullish about SOLG, but I'm very cheesed off at the moment due to the apparent jam-tomorrow scenario here.

Totally agree with that Bakingmental.

Mather is playing a game here with shareholder's hard-earnt, and who knows if he's going to win?

SOLG has stellar resources in the ground, but until they're produced, not a single penny will be earnt.

I'm a believer of the bird in the hand principle, because if SOLG have to ask Newcrest or BHP for more dosh, I sincerely doubt that they will want to pay in the 40p's per share this time around ?

Hard to stomach this continued drift downwarrds as a shareholder !!

And I can't see anything halting it until we have some solidly-bullish input from our board of directors.

Who knows what's going on behind the scenes but the likelihood of a potential buyout seems to be diminishing and the realisation that SOLG will go to production - with the fundraising required and timeframe of years, is coming home to roost!

Some jam today would be great for shareholders.
