Eden Research PLC said Monday that its flagship biofungicide Mevalone has received regulatory authorization in Poland.

The London-listed sustainable biopesticides company said Sumi Agro Europe has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of Mevalone in the country, with distribution expected to begin imminently.

As the EU's largest producer of apples, Poland represents a significant new market for Eden, it said.
