Yeah, Just tendered my Bristol and West, rather reluctantly. Didn't want to see them de listed and then be mucking about in the future claiming cash back. There are better yielders out there so I just moved on. Plenty of complaints on the ADVN forum re this.

One of Cards strengths has been there ability to lease inexpensive locations. At the end of the lease they'll re negotiate or move on. Plenty of empty retail premises around the country !!

Trendz, Agree with your comments about a horible stock market we have at the moment. Why would anybody want to invest in this market when you can get 6% plus leaving your cash in the bank !! I am a long term holder of Card and for the past couple of years just sat on them till the price improves/ hopefullydividend forthcoming. Card are doing far better with a good management team rather than the earlier days of CEO Karen Hubbard who was way out of her depth and oversaw the price plunge from the £3.20 mark.

I have no intention of giving my shares away at these silly prices and will continue to sit on them; confident this is a well run buisness and the share price will improve. Looking forward to the high peak Xmas sales period and subsequent trading statement.

Agree entirely, my portfolio is exactly the same. Holding a small quantity in case it ever returns to previous highs, one lives in hope !

Anew state of the art factory is being built at Nostell near Wakefield with solar and wind energy. This should hopefully keep energy costs down

I have been looking at some of the Pibs, leeds(LBS) , Coventry,(CVBP) Skipton (SKIP) returning 8%. Had them for a number of years.

Aberdeen has upped it's charges on the Interactive investor platform by some 20% alienating quite a few investors there. I shall be following them and putting my funds elsewhere. Shame they wer a reasonable company untill Aberdeen aquired them !!
