Dividend received today. Share price holiding up through a difficult week for markets. Marshalls, brick paving and landscape products this week declared encouraging sales increases which together with the booming housing sector boasts well for the future of Ibstock, together with the reopening of our mothballed factories.

Hi speed 1 and 2 spring to mind.,.. a lot of sleepers from London to Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds !!

I have felt this could go well for a while. With the continuing demand for housing and the reopening of our mothballed factories I think it will only be a matter of time before it returns to the 300 level. We negotiated the covid lockdowns well and the resumtion of the dividend (albeit at reduced level) all augurs well in my opinion. I got in at close to the bottom of 156 and I am happy to hold at this time

Hillfog ,agree with you. When you look at most shares over the past 12 months they seem high, and you can feel you missed the boat however a view over 3/5 years + gives a better picture. I got in at 1.57 and considered selling yesterday but I feel this could go a lot further, certainly £3 so I'll hold for the long term

Classic pump and dump over the past few days. This will eventually come good but it will take a while, long after all the rampers and derampers have gone elsewhere. Good luck to all long term holders

Disappointing to see the price drop over the last couple of days. However expect this is a normalisation after all the hype throughout the whole stock market on Monday

I see he was only at Clinton Cards from 2011 to 2012. That seems a very short time and concerns me !!

Steady progress, remember this was 322p before covid. Weather at the moment holding well for the building industry (fingers crossed) so hopefully it can continue moving upwards. Just wish I'd bought more when down in the 150 region

The 82.90 at 1635 today looks a bit pricey !! Am I missing something !

The good old days; I remember them well !!!

G money they were paying really good dividends a couple of years ago with regular special dividends (15p if i recall correctly on special and a further 10p or so regular dividend ) I bought in because of this dividend but the share price was north of £2.
Like you and many others i'm disappointed with the slow share price but having a fair few of these i feel compelled to sit tight.
the covid lock downs have really hammered this stock but with the vacine news it should hopefully head north

At least it's come up from the 145/6 when it crashed. Feel this will be a slow steady plodder for a few months like it was in the summer
