Margie in normal times it would go through the CCP pipeline. The problem right now is it goes through Russia. Even though Kazi oil is not sanctioned traders are reluctant to purchase the oil for fear of getting accused of taking Russian oil as both go thru the same pipes. Thus, they demand a large discount. Even as they get far less than Brent the Kazi government still tax it at Brent pricing.

Caspian "as Somm said below" makes more money trading it in the local Kazi market. News ways are being looked at for oil exports. That unfortunately will be years down the road. I pray this war in Ukraine ends soon. A while back some of the oil from Tengiz and a few other fields was being diverted to the local market also. I don't know if that is still happening. Somm might know.

Daisy, I doubt we can export a pint of oil till after the Ukraine war ends. We are stuck in the Kazi market. The big boys are having trouble exporting and are selling some to the local markets.
