I have posted the definitive answer, but not quoted the company that have already the tooling in storage to provide hydrogen powered boilers to the world markets, when the time , or all the ducks lineup.
The company name is correct but you need to apply a English County Name Infront.
Also you need to realistically add solar panels to your list of problem green alternatives.

Unlike UK companies who wish to see a profit in months D companies, such as Siemens employ a research and development team, approximately 150,000 strong who are developing products, and tooling that they the market will not need for 20 year.
When the market is ready to purchase, they have a long time scale advantage over protencial competitor's.
Indeed the present WB hydrogen boiler will be priced to meet a cheap replacement for primerrily the UK market.
Realistically we need to change to using boiler as used in Germany. Obviously they are more expensive, but they realise near turn there's a UK market for a less expensive
boiler.
As a final insight our boiler life/or no problem expectancy is 5 years.
Germans expect to see a 25 year problem free life!

Realistically the only high production and cost effective method of producing said product is gas and oil, reversed from the norm,
as it's cheaper to process from gas.
Cmomes to mind perhaps investments in companies manufacturing gas powered fridges is the future cash cow.

Gordon Bennett, our government have finally, entered the real world, Hydrogen is the future saviour of the plants.
So all the nay sayers eat your heart out! We will be exploring for gas and oil, for decades to come.
Perhaps we should now be hoping that 88e changes its business model.
The boring bit for some not all, the real money!!! to be made with this investment is progressing to production, perhaps our accountant will steer the ship in that direction.

Isn't that perfectly true. Politicians along with other parties misinform and treat the great unwashed with contempt. It's often said that you can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time.

Why has perhaps the largest domestic boiler manufacturer, already spent millions on design, development and tooling for the new generation of domestic boilers so that they can start immediate production when the World is ready for the new generation of hydrogen powered boilers.
One must remember that the infrastructure is already in place to supply hydrogen gas through gas supply grids. Which equates to a cost effective transition.
