As said major companies can have a 50 year forward business model, as an example Chevron.

Is wind energy realistically the future, scientists suggest not, just ask one self, why is it that wind farms are not generating electricity 24/7 ? No they do the research! And as with many companies can have a 50 year business model.
In the UK at the moment, hydrogen is being added to the domestic gas supply.
Let us not forget that town gas contained up to 49% hydrogen.
Doesn't history tell us that vehicles ran on town gas. Dad's Army comes to mind!
DYOR and you will realise the direction Alaska is moving in, in relation to their oil and gas reserves. Knowing full well that the only realistic cheapest production of hydrogen is from natural gas, followed by oil reason why, oil needs to be heated to facilitate production meaning greater cost.
So realistically what does UK being at number 11 in the consumption stakes actually got to do with anything? When we are looking at world markets? Or indeed saving the planet!

Curiosity killed the cat! However that said, Obviously miss spelt so confused. Looked at my posts and showing as spelt correctly, still confused so found another post stating I know how to spell said word! incorrectly spelt in a post, normally the following happens at 3am but today same problem but 3pm, for whatever reason the misspelt word is/was presented in the predictive text and just selected.
