Yeah I wanted 3% too but not placed for that yet...that's kind of my fear with non miners...tends to be news only a few times a year and you never quite know what you're going to get. Although clearly you can have several dogs and 1 Burst Media and still break even with a bit of luck...

I see, well thanks for enlightening me re the loans...only had a quick browse so clearly missed the key point... I saw Taya have a big holding and are clearly no fools. Purely on a personal level I'm happier in mining as the timeframes are shorter whereas DCD like Burst Media could easily be one price for a long time then taken over at a big premium. Will be really cool if this pays off for you - but don't go selling GDP if/when it does! Cheers for the blog link - I would like to eventually get more comfortable with non miners so it's something I'll read over.

Does seem undervalued from what we know though - and I'll be the first to congratulate you if it all works out as planned!

The one catch I found is that the profits all came in the first interim - virtually 0 in the second period. Payables/loans are also a little high vs cash. At the moment I stick to miners, but if that wasn't the case, I'd take some interest here as despite the previous comments there's a good bit of upside too. Good luck for the investment :)

£4K would cost 3.25 at the mo. I wouldn't pay that myself but it's a good sign. £1kish costs 3p.

So pleased to have got back in and excited about the results.

The good news is drill news should be fairly regular. It's not a long termer for me, as below, but I do think it could get to 50s or 60s this year, potentially. Director options are high 30s/low 40s also as I recall, so they're confident.

It's been over 40 and will do again but buying on a spike is investor suicide, no excuse for it (except lack of experience).

I do think this share will do well this year, and may rise further today. But it's not in my 3 that I'm holding long term so having bought at 31 I've taken profit at 38 today.

Could be due to bad news or a clear out of easy sellers ahead of the next update...broker target of (an admittedly ambitious) 50p so there is potential, though I think there's also potential for a placing...will find out which in the next few weeks I guess!

If it moves up from here over the next few, I'd say yes, if it lingers I'd say there may be chances to buy at 3p or 2.75 at some point. I actually went for NRRP as a long term and VML as a shorter term following their similar drops, purely because in the case of NRRP, I love the multi-facetted potential, and whilst URA probably has more long term potential than VML, I have enough long term investments and the newsflow in VML is near term and often good. All the best though, will keep following this and am sure sooner, or later, it will do very well.

Looking more at your q re FTE yesterday, I think KAH use over 500ppm as cutoff, and anything over 1000ppm at good widths is quite viable. This report seems typical at Kah http://investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=20100702080049P9F9D The key that I think sets this apart, aside from the grades being good, are the widths being so too.

For some reason that I can't really fathom some shares never get 'on the radar' - I've had GRL from 3.5 to 8p now, it's gone from 6p two weeks ago, look at how many posts there are(n't) on that board!

Yesterday isn't :p Well played once again, looking back it was madness that I didn't buy at 3.9 last week - but as long as my other shares keep doing well I won't complain. Dexter - you probably have enough money to now buy all the box sets of your namesake series!
