“There is no intention to take Sirius Minerals private. Our focus is on completing our strategic review and unlocking the value of our project for our shareholders, our community, and the UK as a whole.”
Hi Stockdale, to my mind, the use of the term 'inside' was a very positive sign. I agree the CC seemed a little cold but I guess they have to be extremely careful in their demeanour. Ascent board have been subjected to outrageous abuse on various platforms and it doesn't surprise me that they weren't all warm and fuzzy. I am sure they are as frustrated as the rest of us. I do however remain positive.
'inside' is a common term for 'insider trading', meaning the trading of a public company's stock based on material nonpublic information about the company. A person trading when they have non-public information may be guilty of a criminal act. This indicates to me that there is a lot happening which they cannot divulge and they are not yet in a position to produce an RNS.
The 'close period' is the time period between the completion of a listed company's financial results and the announcing of these results to the public. The close period is typically regarded as the one-month period preceding the release of a company's quarterly results, and the two-month period before the release of its annual results.
Thank you for your efforts Tiggerman. I too have written to my local MPs in Tewkesbury and Cheltenham. I have no doubt that our efforts will be worthwhile.
The alternative agenda is very evident from the rubbish spouted on this forum. I do genuinely feel sorry for their naivety.

" there are so many things happening at the moment, we are practically inside on a permanent basis..."
" Ascent are in a really dynamic period in the company and the things that we are working on are very sensitive ......"
Board are working diligently. Extremely interesting Conference Call.
note the plural newsagent !
Seadoc - there is nothing perplexing or complicated about reading the overview of the Company on Companies House website. It states quite clearly when the accounts are due yet you seem to wish to persist in claiming they are overdue. You must be extremely tired. The information is completely transparent. All accounts are fully up to date.
Wrong again Seadoc - you must try harder. HHDL's next accounts will be made up to 30 September 2018 and are due to be filed by 27 December 2019. Last accounts were made up to 31 December 2017. Accounting period was brought forward to September.

Seadoc, for someone who claims the above skills, you have great difficulty navigating your way around Companies House; not a complex task but clearly beyond your abilities. Of course they do say a little bit of knowledge in the wrong hands is dangerous. Isn't that correct Doc?!
BALDERDASH SEADOC for the avoidance of doubt ....... why the attempt to obfuscate ? Year end was 30th September 2018 and accounts have been filed as detailed on the RNS below.

I wouldn't lend any weight to Berenberg's prediction for Sirius. Their investment bank licence was revoked in August 2019 after 18 months because of their inactivity in the market. 18 months and they didn't have a single transaction. They aren't allowed to advise any company that wants to float on the stock market so they jump on a bandwagon in the hope that they get themselves noticed. Berenberg have zero credibility.
My granny could offer more realistic predictions.
