tintin - Agreed. Joe does have a tendency of 'down playing' things. I was just trying to work out why there was a drop and that section seemed the only reason , unless people were expecting something more.

As some have pointed out this statement only takes us to end of December 2018.

The most worrying section in the statement was this;

'draw attention to Note 2(b), "Going Concern Basis" in the Interim Financial Report. The conditions disclosed in Note 2(b), indicate a material uncertainty exists that may cast significant doubt on the Group's ability to continue as a going concern and, therefore, whether it will realise its assets and discharge its liabilities in the normal course of business, and at the amounts stated in the Interim Financial Report. It pretty much indicates that if they don't sort a deal then it's game over. Probably a natural statement but put over in such a way that no makes this a binary play.

That mystic '68p' was so fleeting it should be regarded as an irrelevance as the whole spike lasted 30 mins some weeks ago. In reality this has softened from around the mid-30s back down to the pre-JV price (which is still insane).

Personally, I think it's too complex and big for the average AIM investor, who will all know does next to no research and believes any idiot with a half feasible story, to understand how to value.

As someone pointed out earlier, the clock starts ticking on a GCM takeover the minute that proposal goes in and we all know the price is likely to be north of £5

FFS - The proposal deadline is a government deadline, that's why they had to get the JV sorted quickly.

It just happens to be 2019 and it's 28th Feb in a couple of days.

It won't be delayed - It's not just GCM working on the proposal but Dyani Corporation too and they have serious resources to throw at this as it's in their interest.

My guess is tomorrow as they will want to show that this thing is moving at a fast pace now the Chinese are applying pressure and want to give due consideration for maybe an announcement at the Bangla/Chino summit in April . Frankly with the money that is flying around then I think this is a done deal now.

I think they are playing into the hands of the market manipulators if they release the proposal RNS on the deadline day.

I do think. like I stated before, we could see a tickle on the RNS about funding or allusion to the acceleration of the process or the like.

NP - You can say 'cash is dwindling' for any non-revenue outfit on AIM. It's the easiest deramp out there, believe me I'm no fan but I like to concentrate on the failing of management.

That said, when you read the Incanthera prospectus then you can understand what the IMM thinking is.

h2g - Problem is, I think AIM is the wrong index for GCM. It's a big boy share, with big boy potential. Most of the 10% brigade on AIM simply can't compute it.

Also, PowerChina need this to happen and happen quickly, either via the JV or buying out GCM and going solo. If the JV lapses then the Chinese (and Bangla govt) are back to square one. So it think enough grease will be applied here to make this happen and put it in the bag even before Q2.

Disagree in part but can see where you are coming from.

Submission of the proposal is significant as it's a 'starting pistol' for a number of other things. Also, there is a chance that the RNS could give us an insight into other 'things' that could be about to be announced.

Going in with a proposal with a potential funding partner could put this over £1 within a day or two. This time it will hold. The Chinese have been doing a lot in the background to smooth the path for the proposal, so it will certainly light the fuse.

What is happening here is people raced in last week after ramping from someone on Twitter who has multiple accounts (he even 'likes' and retweets his own tweets).

That individual has today started to deramp the pants of it like no tomorrow as no news has been forthcoming today.

Frankly, I think they could all be in for a shock in the next couple of days and regret selling (and that's from me) as a couple of conversations this afternoon has lead, even me, to the conclusion something is about to be released.
