Thanks Doc83
Dozzawba - thank you but not sure I understand the last comment. Cheers
Thank you Dozza for your research but what does your last paragraph mean I’m a bit lost on it
Aeschylus- "There is a risk that that the process will continue for a while longer and that therefore paperwork won't be signed off in time for drilling this year. However 2024 is looking very promising indeed!"
Once again, there is no drilling for Heron1 - Its drilled. Only pipework storage tanks 2-3 week work over.
Mon- old old scaremongering news . The Cabinet voted for our SL permit 7th July
two corrupt MPs you mention obviously over ruled ignored or more likely they only exist in your head.
Formalities at local level ie sorting out redrawn boundaries for herder grazing is all that’s left .
Cut the scaremongering
Ibiza - yes Heron hole is drilled and flowed naturally at 800 barrel per day . It’s plugged as t present but can flow easily anytime even during cold weather it just needs well head conductor pipe work and storag rd tanks eg a 2-3 week work over .
I think bad prophet is really Chicken Little in disguise because he’s always predicting that the sky is going to fall in. 😁
Yes Wolverine it is . It’s slow but it’s coming together. So under 4p does look cheap and as I’ve found sone change down the back of the sofa I’ll grab a bit more this morning.
Mattpr1 - love the cynicism. Must have served you well.
"...... and at this low level SP"
Iniza28- quite right . I think we all take too much notice of this activist who may not be as up to date or as well informed as we think. Remember its all her "take on the situation" and she's got an agenda on how she presents her views.
Aeschylus - looks like you've onl;y just joined LSE today and are coming to Petro Matad late.
What you may not appreciate is that on our discovery Heron 1 in Block XX , we already have a granted Exploitation Licence and a Special Purpose Permit granted by Central Government Cabinet decision on 7th July under the title of discovery of " National Significance" . All we now need is the local formalities signed off by local council , this includes some compensation / alternative pastures for herders. The local council/ officials cannot obstruct the cabinet decision to grant the SP Permit or they face imprisionment.
Hence the Face book Activist is just venting on a done deal.
Quite right CondorMan
As WOS has said it seems as if the FB activist is just venting and bouncing off the local politicians. The Central Government Cabinet decree cannot be ignored or countermanded . So ultimately even with a week or two more hand wringing the locals have to complete these formalities.
One last gasp of the locals .
And can anyone deny the logic behind this article :-

Bad profit- is such a tool
Very thin trading . MMs doing their usual thing!
Looks like you were right Doc , we’ll see Heron 1 on line in September!
Hey ho - was it ever this in developing countries. Still we’re getting there!
Finwittrader-
classic comment of a trader without little or no clue of the company fundementals
Not today though
C001959 - yes , good point . I thought that too . He’s previously referred to DQE wanting in on the production by them shouldering some of the capital cost of the wells such that they are funding us in return for a production profit share .
Therefore we’d get production scaled up quickly . But of course even if such an agreement is sitting there as something to be signed , it can’t be triggered until we can put in a definite start date , which in turn is only possible by having when the formalities are signed off .
