You're right, "ANGS cannot just march on in cavalier fashion and act as if regulatory requirements don't matter".

Decision Notice, Para 8, Workover Rig:

No workover rig shall be brought onto the site without prior written approval by the County Planning Authority of a ‘scheme of work’ detailing the operations involved. Such a scheme shall make provision for notifying the County Planning Authority and neighbouring residents seven (7) days in advance of the operations.

In my mind and by the wording above, a simple email/facsimile to the Authority would suffice and would minimalize any future delays.

Don't hold your breath when it comes to Council's erecting notices.

By the time the leaflets have been printed, distriuted/erected etc, Angus will have already started work.

Try the social media/local Brockham websites routes first. They will be far more reaching and expedient.

It wouldn't surprise me if PV was already aware of the EA water injection stipulation (from a recent Share Talk interview) when he clearly mentioned that existing wells at Brockham could easily be converted to produce oil. Why would he mentioned this at all? In my mind, to deflect attention away from this insignificant fact and to ease investor fears. Additionally, to inform investor's that our next priority is the conversion of these existing wells.

Furthermore, do we think that we will encounter large volumes of water at Brockham? I think not. For small amounts we have already installed huge storage tanks so it looks as if we may be ahead of the game. Tankers could be employed from there on in.

Our reaction being that we have already solved/are solving the problems that the EA have set us.

The way that I read it is that Angus must comply with Table S1.3 Improvement programme requirements (IC9 - Page 15 ) and Table S1.4 - Pre-operational measures for future development (PO 01-03 Pages15/16) before we can proceed. The other EA requirements (IC's) are in slower time.
