From what I understand from Seb's tweets, our objection is based on Appellate Rule 29 whereby the the Amicus Brief should have been presented shortly after the Summary Judgement pleadings ended and not 3+ months later.

Petersen, Eton ask Judge Preska to reject the Amicus Curiae filed on Tuesday by 100 Argentine companies.
- The judge accepted the AC about two hours before plaintiffs filed the rejection letter.
- Ruling is imminent.

Since much of the YPF case information is not in the public domain, I would suggest that you ask an expert who has all the insider info. Try Preska, the Argentinian Government or Burford Capital. Oops, it would seem that we have already done so which is why Burford are very confident in pursuing the case. In fact, committing tens of millions of pounds to do so.

Unless we get an outcome between now and next Tuesday, it may be possible that we get some sort of YPF update at the Management Conference Call for investors and analysts at 10.00am EDT / 3.00pm BST / 4.00pm CEST on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. If nothing else, confirmation that we have not gone to oral argument.

It looks like the SP tested the Major Support at 866.5p today and bounced straight off it.

This should bode well for the future.

By my reckoning, Judge Preska has now had over 4 weeks since Summary Judgement closed and she could have called for Oral Argument. If OA has been agreed or is currently ongoing, there is no record of the court proceedings/decision posted in PaceMonitor.
