BP pulled out before the drilling success under Boil/ INFA during the financial crisis. Just saying the big boys were sniffing around this and believe they could sell it to a major now proved up PLUS government backed financially!

cheers Made1nuk. topnot, Karoon plan to drill Z-38 next year and i think Boil will make use of the rig also. Karoon have over $400m cash in the bank so no issues for them or Boil as the well is fully funded by Union. Boil will see much more activity imo going into 2017 across blocks XX1, Z-34 and Island Magee. We have also been told the Director's are looking to buy into another asset as cash at hand to invest. Exciting times we hope to come!

Cash in bank = to mkt cap, ready to acquire another project, no debt, all main assets funded through drilling including Z-34 P50 2.2bn bbls, Island Mag option with BP previously involved, await XXI farmout with bullish results from independent Nutech Energy report. Plenty in much worse positions valued higher than £6m!

Says in the rns the loan was subject to 8% interest so yes. Also have option to acquire back 15% of the asset next year if they want to so could be a great deal for Boil. Cash is to look and possibly buy into new assets. Also due $2m cash from Union Group giving them around £4.2m to play with - not bad position as long as they make it work!

i hope they put the 11p offer back on the table! their partners now have over 30% equity so will they bid for tpl?
