If you’ve had a life in R&D sign the 80’s like FG with precarious funding lines, why would you not drag this out with his high remuneration with no checks & balances? The investment thesis put forward looked intriguing but after research, and look squarely at the facts (balance sheet, companies house directorships, group debt obligations, governance, succession planning-he’s touching 70) from the fluff, it’s still a pass for me but each to their own. Mentioned yesterday that this would fall to last Julys level without a “meaningful” RNS. Once you strip this RNS back and look back over the years into articles, for example this video below at the bottom of this link with wine glass in hand, I can’t help but think this senior researcher/publisher/professor, has this as a lifestyle company….can’t tell if he’s swooning this young artist, Claudia….

I personally think this has further downward price pressure and surprised there has been no mention of FTX on the board today. The improvements indicated that could be licensed are marginal as mentioned below, weak governance and communications to the market, lack of revenue, remuneration structure are all warning signs. Stories can be fascinating - this is AIM after all - but cold calculated judgments need to be made. Just consider the thousands of instruments that could be invested that have bn’s in market cap that provide a reasonable dividend relative to this. I’m yet to be convinced unless a flurry of profound RNS’s are released. ATB. DYOR.

Lower highs and lower lows since May while the larger trades this last fortnight have been sells. OBV clearly shows this over various periods. Communications have been ambiguous and lacking (and I’ve been in Hurr since 21 - but appreciate that was a different scenario).

The story is compelling (but it’s mainly that to date) so want to focus into FAANG - Fuel, Agriculture, Aerospace, Nuclear, Gold - look like better areas.

I agree with you. The corporate governance, communication, Brainspark debt, FG’s salary, are alarm bells to name a few. I recall watching a video online (which I can’t retrieve/find frustratingly) where he’s in an art gallery environment with a glass of bubbles/wine talking very smoothly but it was just that…smooth talk and nothing more. 100% agree. I've bought today and think over a 3-5 year hold that this will come good. These last 12 months has taught me the importance of patience on entry execution from when I first became aware of this stock via Portfolio Matters.
