I check that page daily. It has not changed. You cannot work out from that how much we have advanced. I see Paddy had images a week back that indicated action around the vent area. So currenky we have no idea how far along the decline we are,

Gives a good idea of scale. Also what the open bottom sections size are,
incorrect again..
I will go off and check out Telfer. Check out what is does as it seem madness trucking mega tons when all we need will fit in a couple of lorries. A solution to this problem could make someone very rich,
Telfer needs to remain open for its green credentials. Being green will be very important going forward. Its main process is leaching process. This is large pool of very hazadous materials. You do not want these pools littered across the outback. The fine milling will be done at Telfer. When Telfer stops being a mine Newcrest can start the restoration process. As being part of milling and leaching works the restoration process is cheaper. As more mines are fed into Telfer all using its fine milling and evaporation pools.
Check out the machines for grading plastic and glass, even food. It can be done.
I agree with what you are saying. In the waste industry machines that can visually inspect glass and separate it into different colors now exist. A electronic device that can detect metal. It can drive a switch switching rock with metal into a truck and plain rock into a another bin. Concentration is the way to go.
We know it will be concentrated prior to transport. How much concentrated I do not know. If Havieron's grade is 100g a ton it means that 99.99 % of the ore is dirt. Decades of fuel, all the transport costs, road repairs and management over decades. Technology now is increaseing massively. I think a method on concentrating is the way to go.Even a electronic gold detector that only allows lumps into the lorry that contain metal. 90% concentration would save millions leaving Telfer to do the final milling and leaching.
I am very confused with this number. It is up to the 11 of August. According to the Bynecut we are advancing at 154 meters a month. Saw a post saying this is the average over the entire decline which means we will not be reaching the ore body until 2023. We are supposed to stepped up to 24 hours a day working, will this make a difference? This step up already part of the calculation, so no change? Has 24hr working started? Talk about speeding it up, what does that mean? The decline, cut, tunnel and position is all very confusing. Lots of questions with very few precise answers..
Before we were waiting for the PFS to be released. We now it is happening we just have to be patient. it is now delayed but we know it is happening, OCT/NOV. Block mining we had no real idea if it would happen. No real hints by Newcrest.. Newcrest current release and Sandeeps presentation the talk about full mining at Havieron was openly talked about. The chat was not if but when, speeding up and different methods of accessing the ore body. A different tone about full mining than before. The decision for full mining has been decided. This is a major step forward . The FS is a cert we are, like the PFS, waiting for the paper work.
