Hi James - surely BAU that is important to GGP is that hopefully the JV does not allow NEM/NCM to simply down tools at Havieron just because they have problems elsewhere (Telfer). We currently have no ownership of Telfer so it is up to them to repair whatever they have to if they want to sell it, but we do have a vested interest in progressing our JV at Havieron and would expect Shaun is keeping the pressure on them to honour BAU requirements of the JV (assuming there are some listed). It would be a disappointing JV if there were no duties placed on each party.

Hi Bamps - when Shaun announced the JV with Rio didn’t we drop the drill-bit in remarkably quickly, so do you think the same will happen on Tabletop? And if so, when do you think we might get some results from the drilling with Rio and then Tabletop? Thanks - your thoughts always appreciated.

Just to be clear Chuff - that is what I was saying - that they are NOT downing tools but rather keeping to the terms of the JV on a BAU basis - Dip says the same as well so we’re all on the same page except for the neg-heads!!

OJ - it all depends on the liabilities NCM (now NEM) signed up to as part of the JV with GGP. Normally it is on a “BAU” basis so can we drop this distraction now - you’re guessing that they are do nothing or the minimum and I am guessing they are too professional to just down tools especially if they have a BAU to work to. Thanks.
