Worth raising a glass or two tonight I feel - there’s been a lot of down days so I think we deserve to toast to an up day like this and hopefully it’s the start of more to come. Agree entirely MH - our defence against the trolls is to report their abuse/disruption and the more of us that do then surely it has an impact on the moderators. To come on here and accuse professionals that he knows nothing about as past their best and that a placement is imminent and all as 100% factual is truly scandalous. I feel sorry for one fellow poster who reads his inaccuracies and decides to go elsewhere as a result. Aaaaarrgghhh it annoys me!!

My take fwiw is that “a new brush sweeps clean”. Imho this says a lot more about Shaun motoring forward to get a Team around him that he feels essential for the task in hand. If you always do what you’ve always done, you will always get what you always got. Shaun was brought in to effect change as to where we are headed and he clearly knows the complexion of Board/Committees he wants to support that progression. My heartfelt thanks to Calum for what he has done for us so far and personally delighted that he continues on as part of the journey (like a Director of football type role). Any connections the new Execs have to Newcrest could just be how Shaun has come to know them and wanted them on the Greatland Team. All imho and very excited for the future!! VGLA true Greatlanders!!

I will never tire of saying thank you Bamps and Paddy for your selfless and insightful contributions to this board. If I am ever having a bad day (which this year has been too frequent to mention - the perennial down 2%) I look for your updates which reassure me that my initial research was correct and all I need is patience. I can force myself to be patient as the end result is the culmination of a dream that we are so lucky to have a shot at. Thanks both and there are others as well that have lifted my spirits when needed, Hydro, Speedy, Magic, TomtheBomb, TomE, BtB, Dillon and others. Good fortune to us all - this truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity!!

I think I’m with you Lenz - I would love to believe we are at the bottom and we climb back up from here, but to be honest I’ve been thinking that for most of this God awful year so far, so can’t be sure we are there yet. I hoped August would be a news rich month leading into September where hopefully the PFS would be released, but 2/3rds through August now and no drill results yet and likely PFS will be delayed (not a worry if it’s because they’re struggling to complete what needs to be contained in it). My last main concern is with high PI ownership, when the II’s want in (and they will) are the MM’s going to raise the SP to get PI sales, or are they far more likely to try the tree shake frightening tactics to drop the SP even further to get PI sell outs that way? They will need our shares that’s for sure, so what are people’s thoughts? I am rock solid in my research, length of time invested and prepared to ride out yet more storms (Newmont walking was the worst) but I am convinced Newcrest are our partners to the bitter end and its only MM shenanigans that we may have to overcome as the final hurdle. Just because you call yourself Olderwiser doesn’t make you thus. Truth is you have no more of an idea than any of us as to which will turn out more successful PANR or 88E. If you’re so convinced it’s the former then do us all a favour and spout your wisdom on their board and leave this one alone!!

PANR is not for me either Rodrod so I must be daft as well. Truth is I invested here because I believe Paul Basinski (RIP) was a genius and he believed wholeheartedly that 88E would hit big in Alaska. It is taking longer than we would all like, but I still believe it will happen. To deviate to PANR that I know nothing about would be disingenuous and needs far more research than I have the inclination to put in. Good luck to you and all true 88ers!!

Sorry for delay in replying but thanks yet again Bamps and fingers crossed for 9th September for either 17 out of 17 consecutive positive results (or 18 out of 18 if we include NCM’s Annual Report from earlier today).

Colin clearly GGP does not hold the “life” in it that you are craving for your own personal circumstances, so please do yourself and all of us a favour by finding a share that does and leave us all alone on GGP???!!!

Brilliant as per the first time you posted this Bamps - thanks. Any thoughts as to when we will get the outstanding drill results - would be a nice lift for us all and hopefully give you more data to feed into the picture you are so skilfully creating for us.
