I can only speak for myself here. I invested purely as a gamble, and it didn’t pay off.

Better odds than an oiler trying to find oil that flows, is near a pipeline and is commercially viable.

All shares are a gamble, so unless you want to bore yourself to death by investing in a tracker fund, then maybe they aren’t for you either.

Please spare us all the sanctimonious p1sh, I’m pretty sure that everyone that invested knew the risk.

The BOD are probably just making sure that they get their rewards before everything is signed off.

This game is as bent as the Westminster government. Big money always wins & the humble PI will never stand a chance against that.

I also have little faith that any deal will include PI’s, but there is the slightest glimmer of hope now. That is way more than all of the self righteous and self confessed experts gave us. Not long to find out now anyway

The BOD should still present themselves to shareholders at the AGM, line up with their pants at their ankles while bent double, and let each shareholder give them one boot in the bags/foofoo. I’d be happy for my shares to be cancelled if this were an option.

This stinks of corruption, or at the very least, incompetence.

It won’t make one jot of difference what any of us think or say, the outcome is in the hands of lawyers, with a lot at stake. Not least for staff and their pension scheme. It would only be right for Morrisons to do the decent thing and save the whole business - especially since they have been working so closely through the whole debacle. I hope this wasn’t a ploy just to pick up the bits they wanted on the cheap.

Whatever happens it will be an exciting start to the week.

The fact everyone is spending so much time telling everyone it’s over, probably means that it isn’t.

I think the shares will relist tomorrow, the price will hit 5p+, and everyone will be happy.

Except those that want the company to fail, just so they can say “I told you so”.

To all of the posters saying “I told you so”, whether gloating, consoling, sympathising, laughing or otherwise, I say this -

If anyone invested here didn’t understand the risks, then they simply shouldn’t have access to money to buy shares with. With great risk comes great reward, but the risk won this time.

I’d wager any amount of money that given similar circumstances on another share, that most of those that lost here (myself included) would do exactly the same thing.

The lucky ones would have walked away with their gains, but not by good judgment.

Every day in life is a gamble. I love the excitement, otherwise I’d have invested in a tracker fund.

You can have Level 2 and every other tool under the sun, but nothing can tell you when a suspension is coming.

I’ve just had a look at his posting history. Every share he comments on is in serious trouble and will be *suspended, *go into administration *be x pence tomorrow *go bust.

I’d say that rather than try and help anyone, he’s just a troll that’s main aim is to disrupt and antagonise - so it’s job done.

Interesting that he doesn’t seem to own any shares in anything though, despite being a self proclaimed expert. Funny that.

I don’t know how anyone could be bothered to check neils 18 month posting history, it would take all your time to read the last 18 hours ffs!

I’d suggest he tries to find a girlfriend rather than posting like a Tourette’s sufferer.

Couldn’t be arsed to wear a tie, but I bet they’ll still collect their wages. I wouldn’t be surprised if these criminals have some kind of golden handshake in their contracts.

The thing that bothers me most about all of this is that the company told us clearly in black and white that there would be a suspension of the shares on the 1st June.

There have been several updates since then, including the press speculation RNS last night.

This was a pure gamble for many (myself included), but I thought it was a calculated risk given the information known.

I’m not sure what else people are supposed to do if a regulated company can say one thing and do another. This is the end, and the vultures will be all over this to pick up the bits they want, leaving the shareholders with nothing, after it was them that provided the funds.

At least the BOD will still get their wages, they should be ashamed of what they have done.

My last point - it’s only money, so we live to fight another day. Try and ignore the trolls, they aren’t here to help, only to make their own pathetic lives seem better by comparison.

Every share in existence has 100% downside. It’s all about what you know - there will be an AGM with board members up for re-election (possibly just an admin exercise for regulation purposes), and this will be suspended on the 1st June because of the accounts.

Until then, who knows? There are plenty of examples of multi-baggers when going bust is a sure fire certainty.

This COULD be a fantastic opportunity, but you should be aware of the risks. This should be the proverbial roller coaster, strap in or get off.

You could say that most shares are a gamble. At least with this one you have a date to work to, and you should be well aware of the risk or potential reward. You could compare it with an oil exploration company, duster or gusher. Good luck to those in this particular casino though, hope it’s the right colour.
