Cancelled trade I think

Anyone that bought or held should have been aware that the company were entering a period of suspension. While it’s obviously disappointing that it is still ongoing, I agree that the indications are currently positive. Sales should be doing well at the most important time of the year, the company should now be profitable, BOO have doubled their holding (anyone think they don’t have some inkling of what’s going on?) new heavyweight boss at the helm and once this is done, the company should be squeaky clean. I agree that whenever we relist this will be volatile (nothing we haven’t seen before, merely another opportunity to get on board). I certainly wouldn’t like to be short here, that’s for sure.

It’s funny how those that aren’t invested/interested seem to put the most effort into sharing their thoughts. I wonder why that would be?………….

Excellent news that someone has taken a decent chunk of the business. These funds are supposed to be run by professionals, imagine losing that much on your investment.

Presumably the purchaser is aware of the issue or issues and has still taken them.

I wouldn’t like to have a short open, even if it is a fake one…………..

Maybe this was way overpriced when it floated, which wouldn’t be a surprise. But, that was only just over one year ago. Since then, we have gone from loss making to profit (or that’s what we are told). I always thought companies like this were valued on future potential?

I’m as surprised as anyone that the investigation is taking this long, but I suppose that it will be a clean slate when it’s completed.

Hopefully there will be proper punishment if individuals are found to have broken the law.

We all knew the risks when we bought prior to suspension, a luxury that some aren’t afforded. Risk - fraud, reward - profit. Every share has risk, but at least we knew it.

I would say that our three peers of BOO, THG are now well above their level they were at on the day we were suspended. The third ASC is now back around the same level. I say peer’s because we all moved in a broadly similar pattern.

We might have weathered the storm, and suspension might have saved more pain. If we are as busy as we hope, and if we are profitable, then that might negate any bad news - as long as it isn’t too bad! Obviously there are those wishing for Armageddon, but they are neither long or short, just people looking for a keyboard reaction.

You can disagree of course, that is your right.

Unless the company have been putting out false information in their RNS’s, then this will come back from suspension. The only question should be at what price? That will depend on the investigation and what it finds. It might even come with a trading update, which may reveal that the company is now profitable. Just my opinion, and opinions are like bum holes, we’ve all got one.

THG have climbed over 50% from their recent low. I’m fairly sure that REVB would have been in a similar situation, along with BOO and ASC.

If the news isn’t too disastrous, and the recent trading has been as good as the company predicted (along with THG’s beauty division results as an indicator), then this suspension may have saved us from a fair amount of pain.

The flip side is that it may mean that people have missed an opportunity to add at a lower level, access their money etc.

Obviously, everything hinges on what the accountants have uncovered. I’d imagine we should find out before year end, but I’m no expert (clearly, lol!)

THG (The Hut Group) announced their results today. Their beauty division sales are up 4.9% year on year and 64.9% over two years. Quarter 4 has started strongly too.

This is encouraging for REVB, and shows that the beauty sector can continue to grow even in very tough circumstances.

Although frustrating that this has happened, maybe it’s not the worst thing that could happen at the moment. A bit of breathing space might help the country start to stabilise from the mess it’s in, and we are avoiding the massive drops other retailers are suffering.

Who knows, maybe current trading will be positive in the run up to Christmas?

Boohoo have also said in their update that they have “significant liquidity headroom for selective investment programme with gross cash of £315 million at period end” Might be wishful thinking, but you never know.

Prepare for a day of attack, and posters pretending to hold “only a small amount as a punt”. To anyone that is genuinely short - very well played.

Id like to see a criminal investigation and people sacked with their reputation in tatters. I doubt that will happen though, more likely resign and get another job with another dodgy BOD.

The RNS’s leading up to this fiasco were either blatantly misjudged or deliberately misleading.

I look at these boards in the same way as TripAdvisor reviews - filter out the 10’s & 1’s, and read the reviews in the middle. Already today there has been one poster claiming 0p and one claiming £2.

It may not be much revenue, but it is significant in that it proves the concept is workable. Regardless of the income generated by this one transaction, this is what everyone has been waiting for, and what some said would not happen

I think Lam was a more complicated situation than we have here (hopefully!), but I still hope we can hear something this week.

The RNS stated that the company wished to complete its audit and publish the results “within a matter of weeks”

Hopefully should hear something this week, and how exciting this waiting is! I expect the news will come prior to or after the trading day, and there will be no nasty surprises.

Although, as a holder, I would say that. Nothing anyone can say will make a jot of difference now anyway.

Remember that they have spent every hour of every day telling you that when the RNS lands it will be all over. The patient is in a critical condition, but not dead yet.

Anyone that didn’t know this was a (potentially lucrative) gamble must have been living under a rock.

Suspension started on the 1st and the reporting threshold was crossed on the 2nd. It looks like these were traded during suspension?

I don’t know why there’s so many people on here crying and moaning. Either get on it and make some money or button it.

Everyone with at least one brain cell knows this has a real risk of going under.
