I have some house renovations starting in two weeks. Thought I’d double my money and be able to afford to go upmarket, it’ll be all MDF if it doesn’t relist soon.

THG have reported “record sales” across beauty and nutrition, with a rise of 9.4%. Unfortunately it doesn’t break it down any further, but surely good news in a sector peer?

I wonder if they would be interested in buying a cheap beauty product company & possibly keeping it from one of their rivals?

One thing that is certain is that it isn’t going bust, which we have been repeatedly told since the initial suspension. A takeout at 20-25p would mean that it definitely won’t drop below the current price, with the additional bonus of a potential bidding war!

Unless the two 44% holders are not permitted to hold shares, then I see them as being key. I doubt that either of them would sell for anything below what they see as fair value, and almost certainly way above the level we are at now. The two of them, by default, will protect the rest of us. This is all rather strange, as it was there impropriety that has resulted in suspension, but also allowed some of us to buy in here at these “bargain basement” prices.

1. Raising money is a new thing that’s been made up today, since the company clearly isn’t going bust.

2. Why would the two large shareholders sell their holdings at this depressed price, if they don’t need the money urgently? I doubt they’re short of a few bob, and would surely expect a decent return?

3. If BOO buy many more shares, then they will be obliged to make a bid for the whole company. This may be the intention of course, but it might also flush out any other potential suitors (obviously a good thing for holders).

4. Trolls, fantasists and disrupters, please try harder!

Tremendous work from those that predicted this company would not return from suspension. Now it’s “fundraising imminent”.

Expect an escalation of those worried about being short, or trolls with nothing better to do.

You are so transparent we can see right through you.

We all knew the risks, we all had the chance to sell and nobody thought it would drag on this long.

Some have put in a sterling effort to trash the company and insisted it was going bust.

The share price was already trashed, and I remember that one fateful day that it almost was priced to go bust.

Those that caused this are now gone (although still holding shares)

Meanwhile, sector sentiment seems to have turned, and peers seem to have ridden out the current storm and are starting to climb back from their lows.

It’s not great, but it could certainly have been a lot worse.

I’m now looking forward to results, resumption in trading, future growth, possible bids , and lastly - criminal charges against those that have acted fraudulently.

Which part of funded to mid 2024 are people struggling to understand?

I think most companies would consider that a luxury compared to others, especially in the midst of a cost of living crisis, war in Europe, post pandemic etc etc

I took a gamble and sold out, made a bit elsewhere & managed to pick up an extra 106 shares. That could be a nice bonus if all goes to plan.

It’s definitely not a fair and open market. Being able to delay publication is not intended to help the mere mortal and humble PI, but those with deep pockets. That’s the way it’s always been & I can’t see it changing any time soon.

I think telling a lie in an RNS would be considered fraud, so that’s quite the accusation

I’m pretty sure the plan was always for a farm-in? Lots of criticism for this company, and not much credit.

Isn’t it amazing how many people knew exactly what the results would be, and that there would be a massive panic sell off? The best bit is these clever people are able to share their greatness with those less fortunate.

Some people said they would never produce a drop of oil, this share has had its detractors from day 1.

Maybe “we” should sell up and buy back in, if you have any courage in your conviction? If, indeed, “we” actually own any shares.

So, this is a “bottom drawer” stock, but upward movement predicted from mid January? Someone is very confused. Also, negative posting after just one trade this morning surely shows that this is not a holder, just a troll.

Very strange that he uses “we” quite a lot whilst spreading bile about the company. I’d have thought that anyone that was so negative about any particular share would not be a holder. Either very strange behaviour or he isn’t really a holder at all. In that case, why would you spend all day every day spreading negativity?

Using “we” a lot to try and convince people he’s a holder, rather than a troll. Very basic, so don’t get caught. Will be gone like a fart in the wind on any good news.

Just some of the words used by one of the resident trolls, who claims there is no agenda. Subtle? I’d say not. Prepare for an onslaught as they get ever more desperate.

Classic BB tactics. Pretend to be a holder to try and gain some support, then bash away trying to spread fear. You have to wonder why they put so much effort in, must either be very worried or represent someone with a vested interest.

If they jumped before they were pushed and are found to have been at fault, I hope the full force of the law is brought against them. We all know that that won’t happen though, these charlatans always get away without a scrape, while the PI’s that effectively pay their wages, take the brunt. EVERY TIME.
