If insiders buy shares now and HMSO squeezes to 60-80p, maybe higher, then they can’t sell their shares as it might look like insider trading. This is the only logical explanation as to why insiders didn’t buy shares at 18p, that’s ridiculously cheap, especially when you know earnings are up over 100%.
Would be awesome if we could pick up 2018-2019 bag holders (100p+) and reward them for holding throughout the pandemic and refusing to sell their shares to the short selling mafia. At 100p+ Hammerson could issue new shares and raise a lot of money to fund new projects or redevelopment their worst performing assets like Whitgift Centre in Croydon.
