You overlook the blindingly obvious and it has nothing to do with a saving in time or fuel. Most women can't reverse a vehicle. There are notable exceptions. The late Sabine Schmitz for example.

Wolves. I do actually agree with EVERY! word of your reply. Stand up and be counted etc. However I think sometimes it's better to keep your powder dry and pick your fights using common sense.
There is so much happening on various fronts currently and many in far worse situations. I don't believe now is the time for you to achieve your aims.

PP. I wonder though how income is affected on strike days. There must be a drop due to customers using others to deliver their packages etc.

I don't see this as an "us and them" situation. I hope the Company and employees can reach a mutually acceptable accommodation regarding salaries.
I have no thoughts as to what that figure should be.
I do however believe the Company should set out its requirements of the workforce clearly.
I don't believe in "horse trading" therefore a rate should be set which will ensure the Company is able to fulfil its obligations and future plans.
The workforce, knowing that's what is on the table, then have a clear decision to make.

If my gain causes anyone displeasure that's their problem not mine. The reverse is true when the SP drops. We choose our own path. I chose to invest in RMG others choose to be employed by the Company.
My conscience is clear.

Isle for example tends to attack me during times of CWU strife. Otherwise he's quite placid. There is a difference about the board nowadays. What was understood to be ribbing of others with opposing views has been replaced by extremely unpleasant comments. Coincidently this has coincided with the arrival of such as yourself.

For clarity, I was thinking no evening deliveries to private homes. Parcel collection available only from RMG premises. But of course with hindsight that wasn't a very bright idea.

Had I continued my thoughts are similar. The Police and Local Authorities have the responsibility. However if an area is considered by RMG "No Go" within certain time frames. Perhaps a collection only could be implemented at such times.
