I assume perhaps incorrectly that they would take your shares even if the bid doesn't go through?

Mike, True and a question of trying to get ahead enough times for an overall profit. I have always questioned the long term optimism here while managing to buy and sell in the peaks and troughs.

Having said that I have also made enough errors.

I could take profit and run but forever the chancer. I have decided to stick in here for a while and try to meke sound decisions as the landscape changes.

Mike, Hardly being cynical to understand that the same characters shorting the stock etc, are the very same that benefitted initially.

At least this time around we make the decision to accept or not.

In which case, sell now and invest elsewhere. Who knows how much this could drop if it's a no vote.

My personal belief is that DK is "trying it on" with a low offer. The board have in some way been "encouraged to support it"

DK will not improve the offer if it appears it could be voted through. So the ball is in our court, and that's what we need. The Gonads to say "NO"

Budgie, If you buy today and the deal offered by DK goes through, your in the money.

However there's a possibility that the offer won't be acceptable. In which case you will most probably lose money.

So you have to ask yourself "doI feel lucky?"

The SP looked more stable today although a fair few sold towards the end. TBH got a bit bored now and just want a resolution.

Considering DK's offer I assume he would be accumulating whatever is for sale at current low rates. This in turn though would push the stock price up.

Must admit current lows are disappointing.

How on Earth Sunak was appointed is beyond comprehension. It's a big benefit that his days are numbered.
