They don't need poor results to clobber this stock though do they JB? Personally, I take it all with a pinch of salt. The upside is, their dodgy deals although painful at the time are an opportunity to reduce my average with occasional top ups.While remembering they need to buy back and any losses are paper, until the point of sale.

GLG have reduced their short a few times during November approx 33% reduction which is obviously a good sign.

The fact that some were given preferential terms by the government on the basis that they would be long-term holders and they are now shorting is particularly galling though.

More important than the number is the %. There are hundreds of companies shorted and I believe the highest is around 13% with RMG sitting around 6%. It's a pain but average attention IMHO.

Mike it was actually me that first challenged your "cooking the books comment" and it was in a mild way, a personal attack because I think that sort of language switches people off. In the same way as you used the phrase "using a stick to beat the workforce with" use of such language gives the impression of a person that is probably totally different to how you actually are.

Remember Mike that the first big drop after the May report ensured that the City boys trousered a fortune. Of course the pay and pension deal was costly etc. But the more doom and gloom I hear leaves me more certain that we are being conned.
