Thank you for the thought but I don't need to pass the message my old mum she sees all she wants to see judging by the white light that I sometimes see.
I suppose the only ones who truly know what's transpiring are those at the sharp end and judging by the (conversations) here they don't seem to be in agreement either. As I have said before unions can be a force for good however it seems they are often justifying their existence by confrontation.

JB. I get the impression that certain agreements were reached on the basis of goals to be achieved, targets met etc. I recall months back that payments were not made it seems due to targets not being achieved. I wonder if it's not a case of an equivalent to project fear over Brexit. I do however freely admit that I'm an outsider looking in. One thing I do know for sure is if I were expected to put my livelihood on the line by withdrawing my Labour. I would want to know chapter and verse in writing. Not a few paragraphs on the back of a leaflet or a group of Union men wanting to have a word as I entered the company gates. In my youth I had to deal with the Shell refinery Union and they were extremely intimidating.

Feline. I haven't understood a percentage of your comments that are work related lingo. However I am not at all surprised by your work ethic. There are a few things that are renowned the world over and Royal Mail is just one of them. My mother was a Royal Mail employee an eternity ago and she also had the work ethic. I spent a number of years in the USA and always felt respected part of which was quite simply being British. Sadly I think that would be quite different now.
Do you know enough of the grievances leading to this ballot to have an opinion? Or prefer not to be drawn in as things do get quite heated?

I am not anti union and obviously am not enough involved to know the real pros and cons.
I quite simply want the 500 year old Company to continue to be respected and flourish. If as recently some benefits come at the expense of my dividends so be it.
Workers should be respected and recognised for their input but when the shareholders are not respected and seen as moneygrabbing etc that gets my goat. We take risks with our hard earned money and many of us are ex RMG staff.
So a touch of mutual respect won't go amiss. "You catch more flies with honey than vinegar"

I read the article about the new fleet which looks very snazzy. No wing mirrors all done by cameras.

Mad. My thoughts are that if most of the workforce want a strike they must believe either they have a grievance or the management are so weak that they will cave.
I hope it is the first option because I believe we have a good guvnor as you have probably gathered.
Either way one or the other will win out and things will be eventually return to normality.

How could you think I would not pick up on your comment. You should know I scrutinise every line. To me a fast cat is a cheetah or the jaguar automobile. I was actually quite impressed that you would own a zippy Jag. But no longer impressed as you don't. Porsche are for old guys that are trying ( sometimes successfully) to pull female eagles ;-)

Thankfully yes I am right more often than not. I have also said there will be bumps in the road. Anyone with a modicom of intelligence can see that with the threat of IA plus far more important World issues. Insignificant things like share prices will be affected.
The point for me to consider is does the Company appear to have future goals which are achievable and in the meanwhile give me a decent return on my investment. My answer is yes but you would have to say no. Your actually not an investor your just a thorn, a barb, an idiot.

We and by this I mean "mankind" are in trouble from every conceivable direction. Look at any level and you will find problems. Just one is financial and strangely although hugely important it pales into insignificance compared to the possibility of increased tension in the Middle East.
That was a little intro into could the SP drop below 200p Of course it could I in fact bought a chunk in the 190+ range and would do so again as I mentioned earlier today.
I think the point is not could it but does Fakeland have Crystal Balls. The answer obviously not. With all the turbulence around the SP could drop further and many who know it will turn around will take the opportunity to top up. Others will simply hold and reap a reward in the not too distant future.
The point is that fakeland is just a thorn that needs to be removed because he has no prior knowledge of SP movement but repeats ad infinitum the same rubbish. If I were to constantly repeat the temperature will drop. I will be correct on occasion even though I am not in possession of advance knowledge.
