The conversation last night got a bit heated and generalised which I didn't need to add my two pennyworth. I was also disappointed to see some of the comments but also gratified to see the realisation that it was not conducive to a pleasant board which we have created here. It doesn't take a big man to mouth off online, but it takes a big man to apologise sincerely and I saw that last night.
I was a bit concerned by the depth of the love in between wolves and feline but that was qualified by stating that I would be front man of felines ring of steel. I would be happy to know Wolves would have my back though.
I saw the comment about buying in if any IA resulted in a lower SP. My opinion of course buy in if you wish but morally should those that brought about the decline profit from the drop. We could say no which would preclude Rico and Terry from buying. But then what about those that voted and brought about a strike. Probably best to get off the moral crusade or where would it end. Assume everyone acted with their conscience and if it inadvertently resulted in them profiting from a share holding so be it.

Hours reduced but rate increased overtime will be paid at this new standard rate plus a % therefore if 39 hours are worked it would be 35 hours standard rate plus 4 hours overtime rate resulting in being paid more for 39 hours than before.

Sounds like you have a decent deal. But what wolves was saying is they had the impression their wages had been cut.
If workers are thinking to strike let them at least have accurate information on which to make the decision.
Maybe more willing to listen to the management directly so you are sure of what your being told. Otherwise it's Chinese whispers. Relax over the weekend and chillout Mad.

Mad. Wolves was not trying to fool me and I believe I understand what he is saying. If not it's due to this medium being harder than normal conversation for example you saying the exact opposite of what you meant because you forgot the "not" later corrected. So let's calmly discuss and if I have misunderstood we're shall soon know but I think I understand what he's saying.
Here goes :-
I am a postie earning 10 per hour for an agreed 39 hour week = 390
My new deal is an agreed 35 hour week x10 =350
BUT..... overtime on new deal is 20 per hour therefore if I do the same 39 hours I earn 35x10 = 350
4×20 = 80
Therefore for 39 hours 430 an increase of 40 for the same hours.

Wolves. Doesn't surprise me and to be honest anyone that relies on a union to be 100% honest is a fool. As for the other fool notice this is a very unusual day due to his non appearance. In fact non of the trolls what does that tell you. They will of course try to shut me down :-)
