PP. My belief is that the decision tomorrow is solely "was the Poll conducted in a legal manner? If yes case closed.
If the decision is no, case closed and CWU would then decide whether to Poll again more carefully and obviously in a legal manner. I think they probably wouldn't.
Post Christmas not as effective.
If decision is yes. CWU would decide on dates for IA. At that point Rico could try to get them back into court for other issues to be resolved.
So the decision tomorrow is important but worse case scenario strike goes ahead and RMG weathers the storm. Rico is a shrewd cookie I'm sure he has other options he's considering

PP. It's referring to the legality of the poll but of course has ramifications for IA.
The Company is asking that, until CWU has conducted a lawful ballot, which results in a vote in favour of industrial action, it will not be able to serve notice of any action on Royal Mail. The Company expects its application to be heard in the High Court in the week commencing 11 November 2019.

Wednesday 13th will be pivotal. I believe the courts will go with RMG but of course nothing is certain. Whichever way the outcome isn't hugely important. A negative outcome will create a blip a very, very, small blip.
RMG has so much to give and my belief is that we have the employees, management & CEO to maximise a positive.
Should things temporarily not go to plan I will of course be topping up as I have done many times since the 290's
