IMO. RMG has investor confidence. However that doesn't translate into big bucks for the big boys. Far more profitable to drive the SP where you want it for maximum profit.

Nuri. Why shocked. It's a case of the traders panicking that they may have heard the results wrongly. So reducing the SP. Meanwhile closing some shorts. Subsequently having their hearing tested and with relief the SP continues upwards.
Don't forget also US/HK situation so markets reacting down. It's temporary.

The following news was described as a "body blow" by one union official, especially coming just weeks before Christmas. Hmmm, It's the most damaging time isn't it. Wonder did the union actions hasten the decision in any way ??

Npower has announced plans to restructure its business which union sources say could lead to the loss of up to 4,500 jobs and the closure of a number of call centres.

With regard to the other matter :-
The same things that move stock prices during regular hours also move them after hours – supply and demand. If big news about a company breaks, that will affect the price in after-hours trading, and the price will rise or fall depending on the news. When the stock opens in the morning, traders will be taking into account the news, as well as the after-hours reaction to it, and that may affect the opening price.
