I think you need to ask what the business objective is. If it’s produce hydrogen, this is not the way to do it. There’s many many other ways that are better, more efficient and much much cheaper.

If you want to recycle plastic, then you’d look at this and the hydrogen is a bonus and goes towards reducing the operating costs.

I think many here have forgotton what PHE actually is, H2 is just the off take. Recycling is meant to be the main objective

Thanks for your concern Each. I sold half my HUI shares at 125% profit and kept the rest. Those are bobbing up and down around the breakeven mark.

I decided to take the 50% (£12.5k) hit on PHE and do something else with the money, which has panned out well, along with CLAI and AFC.

No one like to lose money and while chasing losses is usually unadvisable, I could buy back if PHE show something concrete. I honestly thought the price would be up a lot more on yesterdays news.

Any thoughts why not?

Maybe part of it is because PHE have been here so many times before. I've forgot the number of times I heard the phrase, 'there's never been a better time to be invested in PHE.....' I've been around a while and got out unburned before, years ago, so maybe third time lucky.

I imagine like a lot, I was using the CMD as decision maker about sticking around, but then maybe PHE considered the share would drift on that disaster so went ahead with the raise anyway. Bit annoying, because I'd have sold with a much smaller loss.

As the hydrogen economy develops, all that will matter is cost, the same as all fuels.

Building a W2E site will have limited appeal when you can just crack ammonia and get it for a 10th of the price to can currently buy it for. Before you get on to the cost of setting this up

I’m very hopeful on HUI and I’m lucky as I got in low, but one question is, if the OO confirmation is going to fairly soon, why raise when they did. I guess there’s three main answers,

Building a FOAK is going to be very expensive. Everything is a first and there will no doubt be systems / parts that need to be redeveloped / manufactured.

Whether it’s, £25m or £32m, it’s sort of irrelevant, the key question is how who is raising the money. PHE can’t even if they double the shares in issue, they get nowhere near it.

They really need a big manufacturing partner to come onboard.

Obviously, it's possible, but that's not really the question…….How much will it cost, how long will it take, will it meet operational performance and will it pass regulatory requirements. Probably add on who’s paying!!

There are literally thousands of aspects that will affect these. Not forgetting much of this will be a bespoke, one-off custom-built components and system, all of which is being outsourced to manufacturers all over the world.

Thousands of things to consider and no one will know until they test it and every component is used, if the performance is that of a commercially viable product.
