I understand the argument about not allowing sc um like Ade, Garmoan DW etc free reign to post garbage unchallenged, but I really think everyone should put them on filter. A daily message from one poster highlighting them as the charlatans they are is all that's needed. Would make this board a far more positive and informative place. Especially if things remain heading the way they have over the last week or two.

BBC news had a piece on about UK Data centres earlier and the amount of energy and water they use. Apparently 5 minutes browsing the internet uses as much power as boiling a kettle, which surprised me!!

Panorama on BBC 1 at 8pm is doing a special on it; might be worth a watch.

Git - why waste money doing another season when they no doubt have all the information and benefits they want from it?

That’s not even the system they going forward with, so why waste more time and money or give them a new S series at a subsidised cost when they have more effective partners to work with. Besides, it only gets used 5 times a year, others will have them running non stop!

It’s easy to argue it from either side, but if you were actually invested then you wouldn’t be bashing everything and anything!

I imagine there’s some truth in this….

Could it be that AB needs all his best staff ready to be sent to Norway for the VARD contract ......and wherever the ABB contract maybe taking place ....perhaps AFC could not commit to 2023 with Extreme E....

I imagine the cost of running this project is very high and has probably run it’s course, unless they were prepared to pay full market costs.

AFC have no doubt got what they needed over the 2 years, met a lot of interested parties are now focusing their valuable resources elsewhere, that will deliver more progress and sales of the s series.

That Forbes article doesn’t make great reading! It’s a little worrying if AFC have been ousted from Ex E!

Life is definitely simpler if you have the main 7 or 8 trolls on filter, then you can’t hear the noise!!

The failings of years ago, was technically a different version of AFC with very different markets and products. It has zero to do with what and where AFC are now.

It was pretty much back to the drawing board, and shortly the last few years will soon pay dividends….so to speak ;)
