22.55- Islandgirl: there has always been a 'churnover' of dedicated posters here. I miss some of the very oldies; been through a lot with some of them - 'life' is a four letter word. However, the 'recent' team is still all here and I see no evidence of 'paid' anything. Sometimes it is hard to squeeze a post in edgewise when so much ...... Also, when one makes a big commitment to a bb like this it takes a toll; it is reasonable to field that responsibility for a strictly limited period. Anyway, always good to read your posts and all the very best in this :-)

All good news in RNS. Some words (water, etc) might have spooked the 'we are drilling for oil' brigade. However, Dave tells it like it is and, in fact, more water at this stage is a particularly good sign. Interesting volume and, generally, like a ride at Thorpe Park. Been here many times before in 88e/TPet! VGLA

16.00 - there is no requirement to deliver a RNS for this; all info has already been communicated. However, DW's track record is to give updates. I would be surprised if there was no RNS between now and flow rates but the longer the time lapse might increase the probability of reference to hydrocarbons in any interim RNS with possible influence on SP. VGLA

BB32 - to be fair APOW saluted you too. Come to expect your posts to be good ones (no pressure!). Will be interesting to see if DW flags up hydrocarbons or waits for some kind of flow figure(s). Lots of scope for him on this stage over the next month. Good luck to you in this Sir :-)

10.19: 88e aim is to have assets (some, all?) bought at some time. Any Major with pockets deep enough will have shareholders. Thus, they need to assess risk/reward in order to establish value for money. Window pre Icewine 2 flow results is narrow and risk might be considered as too high for a plc. Post Icewine 2 - we shall see. However, the point is that 88e will either put up assets for sale or be approached with an offer. THIS CAN HAPPEN AT ANY TIME and is the 'fatal flaw' in Dear Lefkosia's posts. Anyone out of this when an offer lands will have missed the boat. Dear Lefkosia has repeatedly publicly chastised one of our posters about holding when 'paper profits' could have been crystallised. I know one LTH regular poster who will have seen the 4p to 2p retrace equalling 700.000 GBP. This was eschewed in favour of the ultimate goal (which can arrive at any time). We all have to be clear - trade 2k profit per month (Lefkosia) and take 29 years to make the paper profit rejected by respected poster) OR hold for the big one. (The Lefkosia 2k accumulating profit assumes 100% correct trading throughout every month of 29 years!!!)
