20.17 and others by poster: think you are seriously missing the point of Icewine 2. It is a well designed to see how best to enable HRZ to give up its (proven) oil. It is not meant to be commercial in itself; rather, to define the sort of well design which will best deliver our resource(s). The vertical design was considered at length when announced because it is not a design which maximises flow rates. However, the decision involved many factors and, in order to maximise horizontal flow, it is necessary to ascertain the optimum landing sites for horizontal drills. Icewine 2 design was to make money stretch as far as possible in answering several questions about well optimum design. As a result, headline flow rates are likely to be lower than could have been achieved by a 'flow rate designed well' but massively offset by all the really crucial data which Icewine 2 is generating. VGLA
