Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Cheers Isa,
And agree our RNS rate has been in decline since Jan month on month, albeit content much greater. Hoping for a couple of big ones before MC leaves to return to blighty
I hope that there is an error as a sea of red for last few days.
Agree with Tester and Campbells can't understand why no new money coming in when we are so derisked at present with such a low AISC vs high gold prices.
Also agree MC doing well with financing however surely if we are communicating to potential partners/investors etc. clearly then more would be on board. Do we need better PR and timescales etc.
Will never understand the mm's
So with 86k qty of shares sold today and only 27k purchased, unless any large purchases in last 1/2 hr of trading.
The share price has increased by 1.07%
Agree with you Tester think gold has a chance if getting to 2500 by end of 2021 start of next year, which would be great timing for production start.
However we only have the SAG mill oncourse to be delivered and assembled in the timescales at present which isn't enough to start production, how long from when we order will the rest of the equipment required take to be on site and commissioned for use? This is key.
Maybe if your hunch is right and 2 RNS's are released tomorrow they'll be plenty of takers. Fingers crossed.
If he dictated the price to sell at he would set his price and offload the lot in that case, leaving the sp a good bit lower but with less sellers and more good news regain traction pretty quickly.
Campbells, That's assuming he is not willing to sell for lower than offered recently.
I still harbour hope he keeps some of his stakeholding in, such a powerful player to have invested and involved. Who knows something may float his boat to think twice with future drill results etc. Especially if his own geologist is indeed behind the recent change of tact to drill Cocoa before Mestiza.
Thanks C_F, also noticed no large sells the past two trading days, possibly Ross Beaty has stopped the reduction sell-off of his position? Finger crossed.
Do we how much longer Mark Child is on site? Usually any decent new RNS releases are done when he's there. Also hoping for more good drill hole results as the next ones are due.
Let's keep the RNS's coming and Condors.wings flapping like thunder.
3 more negatives to add to the list for sake of fairness.
1. Ross Beaty has circa 4million shares left he is offloading at around 50p
2. New cheap warrants to be issued after ten sustained days at 55p kick in.
3. And one no one ever mentions, I know I'll get dogs abuse, what happens if something happened to Jim Mellon?
Still I am a lot more comfortable given recent developments and once RB stops or gets rid of his shares this will rise news or not.
Good posts Seingred,
Ross Beaty selling is a total mystery and as you have stated is peanuts to him, I doubt needs for keeping the lights on, stranger still when all seems to be going so well at the moment with Condor and if he waited another say 12months he could take decent return.
The fact he doesn't need a decent return as so insignificant to him makes no sense, the guy is a billionaire because he makes sensible decisions. Unless it's out of spite for some reason?
Only dampner at present with Condor and all else looks in a good place moving forward.
Bang on Tester,
The other way this may resolve is if Ross Beaty or MC can convince another biggish player 2million quid ain't really that much nowadays.... to take the shares off RBs hands in a one off deal.
Then as long as Randy, God forbid, isn't selling Condor will start to realise its true value fairly quickly.
Problem is WG there are still heavy sellers at play as for all the buys going through they are getting wiped out.
For all to hear.
Campbells what is this news you keep referring to please give it up.
Gobbledegook should have read either slow down our cash burn rate.
Awax, a toll mill deal short term bring sin cash flow which will eiyherbslowndownnout burn rate or eliminate it completely, whilst also allowing more drilling and contributing towards future financing reducing any dilution that will be coming.
Tester - we will see, I think drilling will now continue until all targets areas have reliable mineral results which will hopefully be in excess of 5m/oz. Toll milling I think will happen at some point makes complete sense to generate operating cash from the land while waiting for construction of the main mill to be completed and operational and could fund an ongoing drilling programme.
Also like the fact that some of the gold on site will be used to help funding, thus minimising the amount of equity raise required.
What a difference a couple of positive RNS releases make. Icing on the cake would be for Ross Beatty to get back on board and stop offloading.
Isa, simms and cf, thanks for your overviews which very accurately minute the info from tonights presentation. I also joined the zoom call, but annoyingly got distracted at key momentns and you have all filled me in with what I missed.
The only other thing I took from tonight was as cocoa was going so well they might move one of the drill rigs in the not too distant future to explore another section. I really hope they have the andrea-limones section in mind as at is massive zone with great scouting drill results already and could be another game changer.
