the license looked like it was going to get granted in Q1 but then covid/lockdown happened...then when we looked like we were gaining traction again in Oct/Nov then the administration changed...covid could still be the reason for delays or...
the other reason is politics/Africa. The permitting process is basically how Gov ministers can line there own pockets, or indeed make sure the incumbents/political rivals don't line theirs. Obviously Keras are not going to admit this to shareholders as it would damage relations with us and Gov. Every time Russell meets a Gov offical for a coffee/chat wouldn't be surprised if that is a costly affair like £7k a pop. ****, but it is what it is
its infuriating, i know. But you cant blame Keras management they will be more annoyed than us, but they have to play this balancing act of politics themselves....as it doesn't benefit us if all investors bailed for the door/ or conversely they upset the togo Gov
as investors we just have to wait it out
i think Q1 2021 may get interesting fingers crossed
