Tiburn the 2 scenarios are definitely comparable because it is the same company doing the same thing trying to achieve the same thing, the same people with the same goal. Although I am invested because I do believe in a spike and that’s about it I don’t trust the pied piper because of the way he has acted in the past, the timing of his RNS’ aren’t exactly kosher. He will be fine for the next few years up there with his £160k salary and his £90k bonus It’s the Wild West here not teletubby land

To suggest that potentially the biggest find of the last 25 years would have no effect whatsoever on RIO position on other assets is a tad short sighted IMO They aren’t desperate for assets right now anyway, if they bag up more over the coming months/weeks on top of the copper it reduces their appetite even more so remember we are looking at 3-5 years here not 1-2

Lol do you understand the mechanics of negotiating? I’m not saying that Rio won’t sniff around, and I never said that they would stop buying assets. It’s a fact that they would be in a much better position to negotiate because they are able to pick and choose between the options they have, GGP won’t be the only potential lead they may(may not) have on the table I’m shocked that you don’t understand what I’m saying to be honest lol. What have Microsoft and amazon got to do with this? Do you not think they have ripped off small businesses before by paying a rock bottom price for them or their technology, how do you think they are so successful This is exhausting

@ Rediron The amount of times posters have suggested I have multiple accounts is borderline insanity I don’t even understand what the benefit of doing it would be? Why would anyone waste their time, what does it even achieve? I’ve said numerous times here I’m quite happy for board management to investigate me / my IP etc I only use my phone to post so it would be quite easy to check me out

Haha you really do not understand business If you have just acquired a big asset or project, you are then able to reduce risk/offers placed for other potentials You become able to pick and choose.
