Well that didn't work, the opportunity of £5.90 bid didn't stop the usual dividend reduction of 15p from the current share price. Guess I now wait for the deal to settle to collect that end.

Thank you for the perspective LeeRex. I'm very underwater with TW at the moment. As they are in my ISA there is no CGT benefit to selling, so, like you I shall stay put. Sadly, I thought the least the labour gov would do is build more houses, if only to bestow them to the social and immigrant sector. They can't even manage that it appears, so I agree, they are utterly incompetent.

Surely buying 25M shares will have an effect on the SP? In other words, hold until they've completed that, then see whether to sell. Make sense or not?

If you move an ISA to HL they pay a reward of up to 3K depending upon size of folio. Have to hold for a year.
