As far as my core AML stock is concerned, my stance remains:
HOLD, HOLD, HOLD......and then HOLD some more!!

Guys, AML first announced they were going to build these in August 2018!!! They’re all sold. First deliveries due soon, reported about a month ago. Google it or see the original press release at AstonMartinMedia.com

Invest, always good to post in case others missed it. What a great car - a brand you DB5 with all the toys (except the ejector seat!). If only I had 2.6 million spare.....maybe CarsCoffee!!

Investor, this is a great story, but afraid it's been talked about and reported on for quite a while, so it's nothing new that will add to the SP.

James, old news I'm afraid, this was one of the first projects my boy took on when he joined Aston. Should prove pretty profitable, but we won't be seeing similar things in the near future as they focus on the core car business (except for a few open projects that they're finishing).

Good decision - and, by far, the most engaging lot in the auction. Will be bidding....

Paul, that's superb! Walked up Eau Rouge after last year's Grand Prix - the most brutal and exciting corner/climb on the calendar. You've captured it perfectly. Awesome.

Go for a cheaper appreciating car, keep as much invested as possible and grow it. Skim profits in a year and trade lesser car into dream car. Do both, but in stages.

James, some great early face lift Cayenne S V8s available c.£10K. She can have the 4x4, you still get an engine to die for. Good buy at the moment, if you're careful.
First car was a Triumph Spitfire that I dropped a GT6 2.0 six into. Didn't upgrade the brakes and put it into a hedge!!
Built a Westfield in 1994, sold it in 2000 and have been trying to track it down for the last couple of years to buy it back. Be buggered if I can find it.....shame, as I know every nut and bolt on it. seriously quick too.
Share two cars with CC, an Aston DB7 Vantage V12 and an NSX. Glad he had an NSX in there, a ground breaking car that saved Ferrari in a way - they upped their game considerably when they were faced with a supercar that was (relatively) reliable, easy to drive and an amazing drive. And that sound at full vetec chat, awesome.....

Love an RS6, in facthad 2 in the past. Was just trying to suggest something totally different, but without spending huge money. But where do you stop?
That's a serious stable of cars held by our resident Jay Leno, our very own CC. Can only dream of opening my (large) garage up and seeing those to cheese from.....

CC, Can't really find fault with your stable, a very eclectic mix with some iconic cars in there. I've got a couple of the cars on your list, but certainly don't run to 36 cars of that quality.....I'm in awe!!
Could I suggest two additions for you that would add some new qualities to your collection whilst fitting in well? They are great fun in their own right, relatively in-expensive at the moment, but both great investments. One because it was the 'best of its type', the other for its engine.....
Quite possibly the best FWD car ever made, the ridiculously focused DC2 Honda Integra Type R. Drive one and you'll buy one. Even the best one available would be pennies for you....
Feel you're missing a car with one of the best engines made (and certainly one of the best sounding), the famous Alfa Busso V6. I'd take it in a car so ugly that it's brutishly handsome, the Alfa SV. Still available for your sort of pocket money, but increasingly scarce. Not a flying machine, but a superb drive and a noise to die for.
£70K would grab you the best of each.....
Love your mix of cars and price points, proving it's not always about the price paid....it's about the mix.
