Good find. Hopefully we'll see a return of some height to the SP when we know regularity and value of contracts. At the moment it seems coronavirus is dropping the markets in general.

Everything is down. Is all this sentiment purely due to coronavirus? It's all i see people talking about on every other board too!

I wonder if this fool actually thinks anyone is falling for his deramping. None of the long term holders are, and they're certainly not going to stop the great progress this company is making.

Alright fine, i'll post my valuation if no one laughs. 20x current market cap is 4840m. Assuming same number of shares stay in issue, let's divide 4840m by some reasonable PE like 20. That makes 242M of earnings needed to justify this 20 bagging. So 20x current SP is justified. Quite simple but works for me!

Just to ask the more informed, how much does everyone think this company could potentially bring in, in earnings, in the future? I don't want to embarass myself by speculating personally but I know some of you big brained guys must have educated guesses floating around

Ninja, that was definitely one of the most positive and encouraging posts I've seen on here, so kudos to you for that. I too would love to see an absolutely massive rise again. I also think we can achieve at least 20x the price currently! This is my largest holding by far!

On a PE ratio of 10, if the price was 82p we'd need an EPS of 8.2p to justify this. Because then the price would be 10 times the earnings. Do you think BMN is capable of that? I am a very simple man who does very simple investment analysis. I wish I was as good as Alfa or BBN but until one of them writes a book on the subject I've got to stick with methods that I can understand easily.

Patience indeed, some of us were here when this was 40p. And many of the other posters have been here long before that too

TYM is a worthless company with incompetent management. I was invested years ago in it and they still have not got the storuman license.

No, any opportunity should not be seized. We are here for long term gains, not a short term spike in the SP. And the amount of tripe flowing out of Blairpeach has not escaped my notice either. Why would an infrastructure project company buy a heavy engineering company, and a legendary one to boot? The answer only requires a single second of thought

"could help" what? None of the LTHs here are interested in the company paying to put out token RNS that may or may not prop up the share price Tango.

He posted on AFC saying "a share with true potential" or something like that....If that company has true potential, what have we got here!?!?

So to revisit the topic, do we need to fear a takeover now? What has FM got in place to protect long term supporters? I am a big supporter but the reality is my holding is in the red currently. A takeover, rather than any fundamental bad news, is what scares me most.

I was gonna say Alfa, you of all people packing up and moving on would be a bit of a worry!

How could it be negative? Acquired a legendary engineering company in the face of strong global competition, landed contracts for maintenance of large vessels for it, found a new chairman, investigating possibility of FSRU project, raised funds via a rights issue to existing shareholders too! All great stuff friends

I'm done speculating on small exploration and mining companies. I luckily never invested a single penny in SXX, never trust fashionable or trendy companies, especially ones which are in the news often. I like my investing as boring as possible ideally! I like a company which is making money or knows how it will be making it in the future. And like Buffett says, invest in companies with management you like, trust, and admire.
